Assam Flood Relief Drive

Severe flooding across Assam has affected more than 9 lakh people across 20+ districts, leaving thousands of families displaced and in urgent need of essential supplies.

Through this relief drive, Arpan Foundation is raising funds to support affected families with food ration kits, drinking water, blankets, hygiene supplies, and other emergency essentials.

We have the school. We have the students. We need the lab.

One fully equipped computer lab — 15 machines, furniture, UPS, internet — costs ₹4,50,000.

It will train 240 students in its first year, and every year after.

→ Apply for scholarships online

For students who complete Digital Ish*ta, we now offer a 3-month job-readiness program:

→ MS Office & Google Workspace
→ UPI & e-governance
→ Canva basics
→ Entrepreneurship intro

Because access is step one. Using it professionally is step two.

Preparing Students for Future Work

Digital literacy is becoming an essential part of workplace readiness. Skills such as writing emails, organizing information, and working with digital tools are now part of everyday professional environments.

When students are introduced to these skills early, they are better prepared to navigate the expectations of the workplace with clarity and confidence.

At Arpan Foundation, our focus is on building these foundations through practical learning, helping students move from classrooms to professional spaces with greater ease.

Listening Takes Time

Children do not always speak about unsafe experiences immediately. Fear, confusion, or simply not having the words can delay what they want to share.

This is why patient listening and a safe, non-judgmental environment matter so much. When children feel that they will be heard without blame or dismissal, they are more likely to speak when they are ready.

At Arpan, we focus on creating spaces where children feel safe to express themselves, at their own pace and in their own words.

This winter, we are providing sweaters and shoes to children from under-served communities so they can attend school comfortably during the colder months. For many students, warm clothing makes a real difference to their health, attendance, and ability to focus in class.

So far, we have reached more than 1000 children, and there is more to be done. Even a small contribution can help us extend this support to more children this winter.

Building Classrooms That Work for Children

A good classroom is more than walls and desks. Working computers open access to digital learning, clean bathrooms keep students healthy, and playgrounds give space to move and unwind.

Arpan Foundation helps schools create environments where children can study with focus and dignity. When basic needs are met, learning becomes easier, attendance improves, and confidence grows.
