Join us the day after Rakhi for Upaj: a one-of-a-kind Kathak event celebrating spontaneity, creativity, and the magic of live performance!

Upaj is an encounter between gฤyan, vฤdan, and nritya in which nothing is rehearsed except the willingness to listen. A Kathak dancer, a Hindustani vocalist, and a tabla artist meet on stage without knowing what the others will bring.

No fixed script. No predetermined journey.
Just three artists discovering a shared language, in the moment, with each other.
The artists literally meet and jam on stage, for the very first time: listening, playing, surprising each other, and seeing where the music takes them.

Date: 29th August, Saturday
Venue: Durbar Hall, Diggi Palace, Jaipur
Time: 6:45

The event follows a pay-as-you-like model, but registration is required. There are no tickets.

~Heritage walk~ This Sunday morning join us for uncovering the spiritual, artistic and cultural legacy of Jaipurโ€™s temple because a great deal of thought went into the planning and placing of temples in the walled city.

The devout Hindu rulers who traced their descent to the Sun God made some of the most magnificent temples in the city. It was for this reason that Jaipur was often called โ€œChhoti Kashi.โ€

Date : 9th August, Sunday
Time : 8am-10am

Limited seats.

Walk led by : Neeraj Chauhan
