Every Girl Deserves a Chance to Learn 📚✨

A cornerstone of Khetri Trust's work is our unwavering focus on girls' education. From educational grants to scholarships for leaders of change, we believe that educating a girl transforms not just her future, but her entire community.

Guided by Chairman HH Maharaja Gaj Singh II HHM Gajsingh Bapji Jodhpur , the Trust continues its legacy of opening doors for underprivileged girls and youth across Rajasthan, building libraries, funding schools, and creating real opportunities.

In 2003, HH Maharaja Gaj Singh II of Jodhpur joined the Board of the Khetri Trust, an institution founded over a century ago by Raja Bahadur Sardar Singh with a simple but powerful mandate:

Promote education. Award scholarships. Build schools, libraries, laboratories and research centres.

In 2008, he became its Chairman. And he brought with him a lifetime of public service, as a Member of Parliament, India's youngest High Commissioner, and the founder of institutions that serve lakhs across Rajasthan.

What makes his leadership of the Khetri Trust remarkable is not the title, it is the consistency.

The same Maharaja who founded the Mehrangarh Museum Trust to preserve 500 years of Rajasthani art also ensures that a girl in a remote village of Barmer gets a scholarship to stay in school.

The same leader who founded the Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls' Public School in Jodhpur also champions the Khetri Trust's Career Foundation Programme for first-generation learners.

The same person who received the Hadrian Award from the World Monument Fund also quietly supports WASH programs so that village schools have clean water and toilets.

This is what principled, sustained philanthropy looks like, no headlines, just decades of work.

Today, the Khetri Trust runs scholarships for children, empowering girls, and leaders of change. It funds schools serving the most disadvantaged communities. And it continues to honour its founder's vision under the steady hand of Maharaja Gaj Singh II.

We are bringing the Khetri Trust back to social media to share these stories with the world.

Follow our journey.

A 150-year-old palace in Jodhpur is looking for its next partner.

For over a century and a half, Bijolai Palace has stood at the edge of the Thar : its courtyards, gardens, and waterbody bearing witness to generations of Rajasthan's history.

Today, we are inviting proposals for the long-term lease of this iconic heritage property.

📍 Bijolai Palace, Jodhpur, Rajasthan
🎰 ~30 keys today (suites, executive doubles, 14 hostel rooms)
🌿 Capacity to add 30 more rooms
💎 Long-term lease at ₹30 lakhs / month + standard conditions
✨ Heritage architecture, expansive courtyards, scenic waterbody with traditional dam, lush gardens, conference & event spaces

We're inviting the right partners to take over and write its next chapter, boutique hotel operators, luxury & wellness retreats, hospitality groups, or destination-wedding businesses ready to invest in a property with soul.

A heartfelt note: Bijolai is also a responsible-tourism property. A significant share of its income has gone toward providing drinking water to communities across the Thar Desert. We're hoping to find a partner who values that legacy as much as we do.

If this resonates with you or if you know someone who'd be the right partner, please share, message us, or write to [email protected].

🌺Honoring Forgotten Heroes 🌺
From the deserts of Khetri and Shekhawati to the battlefields of World War I & II, brave soldiers gave their lives far from home. 🌍

Their sacrifice is immortalized by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) — a reminder that even small towns of Rajasthan shaped global history.
