Rafi Cup 2026 – Celebrating Legacy Through Football

The Rafi Cup 2026 was held on Saturday, 8th August 2026, at the St. Xavier’s football ground in Jaipur, bringing together young school footballers in a celebration of football, camaraderie and sportsmanship.

The tournament is held in loving memory of Late Mohd. Rafi (Batch of 1974), former President of the Xavier’s Alumni Association and a passionate footballer. During his school days, he was known for his outstanding skills as a full-back and his famous “rocket-speed” goal kicks.

The Rafi Cup and trophy have been instituted and organized by his sons, Saleem and Aamin, to honor their father’s legacy and keep his love for football alive.

The tournament featured exciting matches, culminating in a closely contested final, where the Blues emerged victorious with a 2–1 win.

The Xavier’s Alumni Annual Poolside Party, held on Sunday, 26 July 2026, was a wonderful celebration of friendship, togetherness, and cherished memories. The lively atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversations, and the joy of meeting classmates and friends after a long time. The baseball game, rain dance, and poolside activities kept everyone entertained, while children and adults alike enjoyed every moment of the fun-filled evening. A delicious spread of snacks, refreshing beverages, and sumptuous food added to the festive spirit and received appreciation from all. The gathering provided the perfect opportunity to relive old memories, share stories from school days, reconnect with friends, and strengthen the bonds that have always defined the Xavier’s Alumni family. It was truly an unforgettable annual celebration, leaving everyone with smiles, renewed friendships, and beautiful memories to cherish!!

Battle of the Brains – Naresh Pardal Memorial Quiz Competition

Naresh Pardal Memorial Quiz Competition was held on 17th July 2026 in the memory of Mr. Naresh Pardal, a true Xavierite who exemplified excellence, humility, and grace. A brilliant student who grew into a courteous, well-mannered, and affable gentleman. The event was generously sponsored by the Pardal family.

The quiz was expertly conducted by Mr. Kishore Joshi and featured six exciting rounds covering Science, Current Affairs, History, Sports and Rapid Fire. Students of Classes XI and XII enthusiastically participated as audience members, with several questions being opened to them during the audience round, making the competition even more engaging.

After a closely contested battle of knowledge and quick thinking, Reds House emerged as the champions, taking home the winning trophy along with a cash prize of ₹4,000. Blues House finished as the runners-up and received a cash prize of ₹3,000.

Congratulations to all the participants and winners! Xavier's Alumni extends its sincere gratitude to the Pardal family for their continued support in keeping Mr. Naresh Pardal's legacy alive through this prestigious annual event.

Annual Flying Officer Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan Memorial Football Match

The spirit of camaraderie and competition was on full display at Annual Flying Officer Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan Memorial Football Match- a tribute paid with deep reverence to a true warrior and inspiration. Held on 14-Jul-26 evening, at St. Xavier’s School, Jaipur, the match saw the spirited contest between the Alumni Team and the current St. Xavier’s School Team. More than just a match, the event commemorated the enduring power of friendship, teamwork and dedication - values that Abhimanyu embodied throughout his life.

In an exciting contest played with passion and sportsmanship, the Xavier's Alumni emerged victorious with a 2–0 win over the school team with goals from Utkarsh and Zubin.

The annual memorial match continues to honor the legacy of Flying Officer Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan, bringing together generations of Xavierites through the values of teamwork, respect, and excellence. The match served as a celebration of the enduring bond between the alumni and the school, with both teams displaying outstanding commitment and sportsmanship.

The event was made even more special by the presence of senior alumni members, who joined the celebrations and relived cherished memories on the field. Flying Officer Abhimanyu Singh Chauhan's batchmates and family members also attended the occasion, paying tribute to his life and legacy. Following the match, a cake-cutting ceremony was held, Alumni members, family members, batchmates, students came together to celebrate his enduring spirit and the values he stood for—courage, dedication, and service to the nation.

At the 36th AGM of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Tarun Bansal (Xavierite ’91) for his exemplary leadership as he hands over the baton to Mr. Hemant Mittal. We warmly welcome Mr. Luv Shekhawat (Xavierite ’98) as Joint Secretary, while Mr. Adhiraj Singh Shekhawat continues as Secretary and Mr. Asim Parekh as Treasurer. This leadership team reflects the enduring contribution of Xavierites to Rajasthan’s tourism and hospitality sector, where they have played a significant role in driving economic growth, professional excellence, and community development across the state.
