Thirty artisans. One shared heritage. Stronger possibilities ahead.

Through the Skill Development Training Program for Industry and Artisans (SDTPIA), MVS India trained 30 jute handloom weavers in Barpeta, Assam bringing together traditional craftsmanship with modern design thinking, improved production techniques, quality standards and market-ready skills.

From practical demonstrations to hands-on learning, the programme helped artisans strengthen productivity, refine product quality and explore new ways to make traditional jute products more competitive.

Assessment by the Handicrafts Sector Skill Council (HSSC) further validated the skills and learning achieved during the programme.

Every woman deserves to be free, independent, and truly empowered.

At MVS India, we believe empowerment is not just a word -it is the ability to rebuild life with dignity, confidence, and opportunity.

True independence comes when a woman can earn her own livelihood, grow her skills, and stand strong on her own terms.

Through structured skill development, continuous support, and livelihood opportunities, we aim to create pathways where women are not dependent on circumstances, but empowered to shape their own future.

Because real change is not about sympathy-it is about strength, self-reliance, and sustainable growth.
