Donate a Life Donate a Life started by BMCHRC with an objective of gifting a complete happy life with holistic health and wellness to children suffering from Cancer.

The welfare initiatives commenced by the BMCHRC truly defines the core objective of the institution, i.e. to selflessly serve the mankind and manifests that at BMCHRC CURE IS CARE! Numerous projects initiated by BMCHRC include Donate a Life, Surveillance and Early Detection of Breast and Cervical Cancer, Freedom for Cancer, Cancer Survivor Meet and Greet and more. The most imperative ones amongst

the above is the free-ship offered by BMCHRC wherein free hospital services are extended to the patients belonging to BPL category and financially weak sections up to an extent of 25%. With an objective of gifting a complete happy life with holistic health and wellness, Donate a Life programme has been initiated by the hospital to extend free treatment for the treatable blood cancers (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Low Risk – ALL, Acute Promylocytic Leukemia – APML, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – HL) in the children aged between 1 and 14.

On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, our Pediatric Ward was filled with smiles and laughter as young cancer warriors participated in a joyful kite-making activity. The event was organized by Department of Psychology in collaboration with Cuddles Foundation, aiming to bring positivity and emotional well-being to children undergoing cancer treatment.

The engaging activities were thoughtfully conducted by Dr. Priyasi Surolia, Psycho-Oncologist, Ms. Yashasvi Latta, Psychologist, and Dt. Aditi Dubey, Pediatric Oncology Nutritionist, who ensured a fun-filled and nurturing experience for the children.

Moments like these remind us that healing goes beyond treatment—it also lies in happiness, hope, and togetherness.
