One word at a time. One lesson at a time. One step closer to a brighter future.

📚✨Watching a child read, learn, and grow is a reminder that every small achievement matters.

At Skoolam, we believe education isn’t just about reading words on a board — it’s about building confidence, curiosity, and the courage to keep learning. ❤️

Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and believe in themselves.

For the very first time in our 2.5-year journey, we organised a 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀’ 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 and got the opportunity to sit with the parents, interact with them and talk about the role they can play in their child’s growth.

We spoke about some very simple but important things:

1. Keeping a check on the company their children keep.
2. Building a habit of continuously correcting small, unhealthy habits before they become bigger ones.
3. Talking to their children about their dreams and aspirations.
4. Asking them every day, “Aaj Skoolam mein kya padhaya gaya?”

We also shared feedback on each child’s progress, listened to parents’ concerns and suggestions, and discussed what improvements we can make and what additional support Skoolam can extend to the children and their families.

Along with this, we distributed 𝟭𝟬 𝗸𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟬𝟬+ 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, ensuring that we continue to support the families beyond education as well.

For us, today was not just a Parents’ Meeting.

It was the beginning of building a stronger connection between 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗺 — because a child’s growth cannot happen in isolation.

We are learning, improving and growing — together.

When people come together, meaningful change begins.

A heartfelt perspective from a volunteer of Robin Hood Army sharing their experience and thoughts about the work being done at Skoolam. ❤️

From education and learning to creating better opportunities for children, every small effort contributes to a bigger change. 📚✨

Together, we can continue to empower, educate and inspire. 🤝

Education is not just about learning what is written in books.

It is about understanding the value of knowledge, building confidence, developing aspirations, and believing that a better future is possible. 📚✨

For many underprivileged children, the importance of education may not always be understood or encouraged at home—not because their parents don’t care, but because they may not have had the opportunity or resources themselves.

And that is where we can make a difference.
By creating awareness, providing guidance, and standing beside children in their learning journey, we can help them see education not as an obligation, but as a pathway to opportunity and independence.

Because sometimes, all a child needs is someone to say, “Your education matters. Your dreams matter. And we believe in you.” ❤️
