WHO WE ARE

The UDBHAV VISION Foundation is a vibrant and dynamic not-for-profit seeking to make a difference through innovation and sustainable impact. It is being managed by Shri Chetan Sharma, who was working as chief manager in Oriental Bank of commerce before relinquishing his job and monthly earning of more than rupees 1.1 lakh to dedicate his entire life for community service. The UDBHAV F

oundation is committed to ensure access to education for all visually impaired boys and girls of Rajasthan by providing accessible Braille books, scholarships, admissions in public schools according to provisions of RTE act and other timely interventions. It is a Jaipur-based charity dedicated to holistic development of persons with visual disabilities. Since its inception, UDBHAV Foundation has adopted a right-based approach in pursuing the rights of persons with visual impairment in every sphere. our endeavor is to make a difference through short term computer/mobile training, research, counseling, personality development, scholarships and other interventions. Opening-up new horizons of opportunities through advocacy initiatives is also one of our thrust area. Persons with visual impairment who are struggling to cope with trauma specially in later stage of their lives, always get priority in our endeavors. We lay special emphasis on combating loneliness among elderly persons suffering from visual impairment. A self-sustained not-for-profitmaking a difference through technological innovations is core philosophy of UDBHAV Foundation. Mission Statement

Every visually impaired person is treated like a human being. The diversity of a visually impaired person is valued irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender and race. Vision Statement

Like every human being, a visually impaired person also has inherent strengths and immense potential. The distinct ability of each visually impaired person shall be utilized to the fullest extent.

It is with great pride and joy that we announce that Mr. Sanjog Kumawat has been honored with this year’s Udbhav Award of Excellence in Community Service – Rising Star of the Year.

At just 31 years of age, and despite total vision loss, Mr. Kumawat exemplifies the spirit of resilience, innovation, and empowerment that the Udbhav Vision Foundation seeks to celebrate. As a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (IAAP-CPACC), an Accessibility Tester for Benetech's Bookshare, and a Master Trainer, he has committed himself to advancing digital inclusion and improving the lives of individuals with visual disabilities.

One of Mr. Kumawat’s most notable contributions has been his pioneering work in accessible digital literacy training. Recognizing the financial challenges many face, he developed a model that integrates mobile phones with external keyboards, creating an affordable and effective alternative to laptops. This innovative approach has opened new opportunities for independence and self-reliance.

Beyond group training, he has personally mentored more than 25 students, tailoring his guidance to individual needs. His trainees reflect a wide spectrum of society—from a B.Tech student in Pune to a government employee in Bhopal and a geography teacher in Dehradun—each empowered to study, work, and participate more fully in personal and professional life.

Through his unwavering dedication and innovative methods, Mr. Kumawat has significantly expanded access to education, communication, and livelihood opportunities for the visually impaired.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to Mr. Sanjog Kumawat on receiving this prestigious recognition, and we celebrate his inspiring journey as a true champion of accessibility and inclusion.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Udbhav Award of Excellence in Community Service – CSR Professional of the Year has been awarded to Piya Nandi (Dutta), Lead – CSR & Sustainability at mjunction Services Limited.

With over 20 years of experience, Piya has been at the forefront of driving inclusive development and CSR initiatives that align business objectives with meaningful social impact. Her leadership has earned mjunction multiple accolades, including the Best CSR Professional of the Year award and the Tata Sustainability Group Award for Employee Volunteering.

A Proven Leader in CSR & Sustainability

Piya is a certified TAAP (Tata Affirmative Action Program) Assessor and has successfully aligned mjunction’s CSR strategy with Tata Group’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) framework.

Advancing Disability Inclusion

Among her most notable achievements is Project Jyoti, a digital inclusion initiative for visually impaired students that has impacted over 3,200 children across 10 states, training 2,500+ special educators. Piya also launched Vivek Drishti, an employability center empowering visually impaired young women with digital literacy, communication skills, and career readiness training.

A Vision for Sustainable Change

Piya’s work exemplifies her commitment to sustainable, technology-driven solutions that integrate people with disabilities into mainstream education and employment. Through strategic collaborations with governments, NGOs, and corporations, she has created models for systemic, lasting change in inclusive education and employability.

Piya’s clear vision to embed disability inclusion within CSR and DEI continues to ensure equal opportunities and empowerment for all.
