Dear all,

I am deeply saddened to share that Dr. YangQuan Chen has passed away.

Dr. Chen was an extraordinary scholar, mentor, and pioneer in the field of fractional calculus and fractional-order systems. His groundbreaking work in fractional calculus, including its applications in control systems, signal processing, and engineering science, has profoundly shaped modern research in these areas.

Beyond his academic contributions, he was widely admired for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to students and collaborators around the world. His guidance and inspiration will continue to influence many generations of researchers.

This is a great loss for all of us who had the privilege of knowing him, learning from him, or being inspired by his work.

May his memory and legacy live on through the many people he inspired.

Rest in peace, Dr. Chen.

The news of Prof. Ravi P. Agarwal’s passing is profoundly heartbreaking. He was not only an extraordinary researcher but also a generous mentor whose wisdom and kindness touched many lives. May his memory continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him. Heartfelt condolences to his family and colleagues.

2. *Young Distinguished Researcher Award (Below 40 years of age)*.
3. *Best Paper Presentation Award (Below 35 years of age)*.
