The RISEN NORTH EAST is aimed at working among the weaker sections of the society for uplifting their socio-economic condition. Keeping this in view it is taking initiative to establish, promote and assist educational institutions such as
as schools, colleges, tutorials, coaching centres, technical and non-technical institutes and so on.The society also aims at conducting counseling sessions, semi
nars, consultations related to education, social justice, employment opportunities, etc. It also aims at eradicating illiteracy, promoting adult education, in consonance with the Right Education. It also seeks to work among the ethnic communities of the North East to promote, preserve and document the rich cultures, traditions, dance, art, music, food etc. by introducing in the electronic as well as digital media. The society also aims to publish periodicals, journals, books, magazines, newspapers etc in various ethnic languages thereby promote and preserve their language. It will also launch literacy drive, social awareness programmes, assist in implementing social welfare programmes of the government, environment education,
health and hygiene, and sanitation drive from time to time. It also aims to create employment avenues through cultural and nature tourism. The society aims to work among all sections of the society irrespective of their language, s*x, community, religion or caste without any bias or prejudices. It is purely a non-governmental and non-profit organization for the welfare of the society. The income, earnings, funds receive from government, non-governmental organizations, international assistance shall be utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objectives.
