Looking into the plight of the poor tribal of the area, BDKS set out to work for the marginalized, especially tribal of Chhattisgarh. The Institutional Objectives of BDKS is “an Integral Development of the Tribals of Bastar division by improving educational, socio-economic and political condition through the sustainable development process by having the values such as Human dignity through education, Equality and Justice, Empathy and Service, Quality and Excellence, Peace and Harmony”.
