Till date, 500+ women have been screened for early detection, and 30+ women have already received treatment.

Nature Mates Nature Club and Bandhan Bank conducted nature awareness sessions on 16th and 17th of February 2026, at Sridharnagar, Patharpratima Barabazar and Bhagabatpur regions of Sundarbans. The sessions were conducted by eminent herpetologist Anirban Chowdhury, predominantly focussing on the commonly found fauna and reptiles around human habitation of the region. Knowledge on risk free rescue and care techniques were also imparted. Total 80 attendees included villagers, JFMC and forest department representatives were present across the three sessions. Pre and post assessment questionnaires were provided to all attendees, to gauge the impact of the sessions.
