Isha House's key objectives are to provide a safe, fun, educational and a loving environment for children belonging to the bottom of the pyramid section of the society. Children learn the most in the very initial years of their life. The emphasis is to give them a head start with a strong focus on educating them with basics as early as possible. Most of these children attend government schools whi
ch have a poor track record of giving quality education. We intend to give the children the best possible education standards so that when they start attending the government schools they are well ahead of their class standards. Many of the children attend government school for a limited number of hours each day. Isha house will act as a support centre where they are free to come anytime between 9:00am till 5:00pm. Isha house will be a place where children can spend their free time in a safe, clean, healthy, enjoyable and stimulating environment. Attendance to the centre will be compulsory once they are part of it. Isha house will provide all children with one meal a day. As the kids grow up, Isha house will also make sure they do not get into the company of antisocial elements and maintain their focus on studying and building up a career. Later, Isha House will also provide vocational classes to older kids such as yoga, stitching, cooking, beautician etc. The key objective is to make sure that each Isha House kid is well trained and equipped with all the essential skills required to have a respectable and successful life.
