Itanagar: The teaching collaboration between the Aanwg Anya Foundation and Government Secondary School, P-Sector, Itanagar, which began on June 15, 2026, was successfully concluded with a focus on enhancing students’ learning experiences and promoting awareness of key social and educational issues.
During the collaboration, resource persons from the Aanwg Anya Foundation conducted interactive sessions, particularly for Class VIII students, covering the history and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh through discussions, activities and classroom-based learning.
The programme also featured awareness sessions on child rights, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, moral values, environmental protection and personal hygiene, besides issues concerning the safety, well-being and responsible development of children.
The initiative aimed to bridge classroom education with practical knowledge and social awareness. Students were encouraged to actively participate in discussions, raise questions and express their views while developing a greater sense of responsibility towards themselves, their community and the environment.
The collaboration also brought together teachers, students and resource persons in an effort to create a more engaging and meaningful learning environment.
On the completion of the programme, the Aanwg Anya Foundation expressed its appreciation to the school authorities, teachers and students for their cooperation and active participation. The Foundation also acknowledged the support extended by the school’s Headmaster in facilitating the initiative.
