Subject: Request to Check, Monitor and Regulate Orphanage Centres and Inter-State Child Welfare Activities

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Shri Abu Kiogi, Chairman of the All Arunachal Pradesh Orphan Welfare Society, respectfully request the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to strengthen the checking, monitoring and regulation of orphanage centres and organizations involved in the care, welfare and movement of orphan children, including activities connected with other states.

The safety, education, health and overall welfare of orphan and vulnerable children should always be given the highest priority. Therefore, we humbly request the concerned departments and authorities to conduct proper inspections and maintain effective checks and balances regarding the functioning of orphanage centres.

We request the Government to consider the following measures:

1. Regular inspection and monitoring of all orphanage and child-care centres.
2. Proper verification of registration, management and staff members.
3. Maintenance of accurate records of all children residing in such centres.
4. Strict monitoring and verification of any inter-state transfer or movement of orphan and vulnerable children.
5. Coordination with concerned authorities and child welfare departments of other states.
6. Immediate action against any illegal, unregistered or unauthorized orphanage activities.
7. Ensuring proper education, healthcare, nutrition, safety and protection for every orphan child.

We believe that strong monitoring and coordination will help protect orphan children from exploitation and ensure that they receive proper care, dignity and opportunities for a better future.

Therefore, the All Arunachal Pradesh Orphan Welfare Society humbly requests the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to take necessary steps and establish a strong system of check and balance for orphanage centres and inter-state child welfare activities.

We assure our full cooperation and support to the Government and concerned authorities for the welfare and protection of orphan children in Arunachal Pradesh.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Orphan Welfare Society is a social welfare organization dedicated to supporting orphan and underprivileged children across Arunachal Pradesh. The main aim of the society is to ensure that every child, regardless of their family or financial background, gets an opportunity to live with dignity, receive education, develop skills, and build a bright future.

Orphan children often face many difficulties in life, including lack of proper education, financial support, healthcare, nutrition, clothing, and emotional care. The society works to reduce these difficulties by providing necessary assistance and connecting children with people and organizations willing to support their welfare.

Education is one of the most important priorities of the society. The organization encourages orphan children to attend school and continue their studies. It aims to support children with educational materials such as school bags, books, notebooks, uniforms, stationery, and other essential requirements. The society also believes that education can help children become independent and responsible citizens of society.

The society also focuses on sports and extracurricular activities. Sports can improve physical fitness, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities among children. Activities such as football, volleyball, badminton, chess, and other games can provide children with opportunities to discover their talents and develop positive habits.

Healthcare and basic needs are also important areas of concern. The society seeks support for medical assistance, nutritious food, clothing, and other essential items for children who need help. During difficult situations or emergencies, the organization can also work with volunteers, well-wishers, local communities, and government authorities to provide relief and assistance.

The All Arunachal Pradesh Orphan Welfare Society believes that the welfare of children is a collective responsibility. Government departments, local administration, community leaders, businesses, educational institutions, NGOs, and ordinary citizens can all contribute to improving the lives of vulnerable children.

The society also encourages people to come forward as volunteers and supporters. Donations, educational materials, sports equipment, food items, clothing, and other forms of assistance can make a meaningful difference in a child's life. Transparency, honesty, compassion, and proper utilization of resources should remain important principles of the organization.

It is with deep sorrow that we witnessed the devastating impact of continuous heavy rainfall across Arunachal Pradesh, which has triggered flash floods and landslides in several districts, including the Posa (Yazali) area of Panyor District. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for the safety of those who are still missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with every affected family during this difficult time. Rescue operations are still ongoing in the affected areas.

⚠️ Public Safety Advisory
We earnestly request all citizens of Arunachal Pradesh to:
1) Avoid unnecessary travel, especially to landslide- and flood-prone areas.
2) Follow only official weather and district administration advisories.
3) Do not attempt to cross flooded roads, bridges, or rivers.
4) Cooperate with the District Administration, Police, SDRF, NDRF, and all rescue agencies.
5) Stay alert, stay safe, and help those in need whenever possible.

Together, let us stand in solidarity with the people affected by this natural calamity and pray for the speedy recovery of all impacted communities.
