Day 1 at Winter Adventure Tawang 2026, and what an incredible start!🏔🎿
The mountains came alive today with courage, excitement, and the unstoppable spirit of our youth as participants hit the snow for their very first day of winter sports training in Tawang. From first glides to fearless falls and big smiles, today was a/ about learning, resilience, and embracing new adventures.

It was a privilege to welcome Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju ji and Padma Shri awardee, renowned playback singer Shri Mohit Chauhan ji to Lungla for the Tawang-Chu International Kayaking Championship.
As the NGO partner for this prestigious international event, it was an honour for YUVA to present them with our giftset as a small gesture of respect and gratitude.
Kiren Rijiju ji's unwavering support for the youth, his commitment to sports, and his constant encouragement to young people from Arunachal Pradesh have always been a deep source of inspiration for us.

Today, the YUVA team visited Taksang Government School to distribute tracksuits to the students and faculty.Located in a cold and remote region with limited access to basic amenities, Taksang often faces challenges that affect regular school attendance and learning comfort. Responding to a request from the Headmaster, YUVA provided tracksuits to ensure that students and teachers can stay warm and focused in their classrooms.
This initiative reflects YUVA's commitment to supporting education not only through academic interventions but also by addressing the essential needs that enable students to learn with dignity and comfort.

Today's Awareness Camp on Traditional Monpa Practices in Kalaktang was a wonderful success. With enthusiastic participation from students, youth, and community members, the event became a true celebration of our Monpa heritage.
We were truly honoured to have among
us Shri Rinchin Norbu, master of traditional wooden mask-making and Shri Tenzin Jorden, who shared his invaluable knowledge and insights with the participants.The event came alive with special performance by MIPA and the vibrant AjiLhamo Dance by school students. These performances reminded us of the richness of our traditions and the importance of passing them on to the younger generation. A heartfelt thank you to our resource persons,performers, and all participants for making this day
