We achieved freedom from British rule, but the true meaning of independence lies in freeing ourselves from the divisions that still separate us—caste, religion, prejudice and narrow-mindedness.

Let us build a society where every individual is respected, every community lives with dignity, and unity in diversity becomes our greatest strength.
This Independence Day, let us pledge to break the barriers in our minds and work together for a peaceful, inclusive and united India. ❤️🇮🇳
Freedom is not complete until every mind is free.

Our hearts are with the people of Parsi-Parlo, Kurung Kumey district, affected by the devastating flash flood on 13 July 2026.

Continuous monsoon rains caused the Kumey and Parlo rivers to overflow, submerging homes and damaging infrastructure.

We stand in solidarity with the affected families and pray for their safety, strength, and a swift recovery. Our sincere appreciation goes to all the rescue teams, volunteers, and authorities working tirelessly to support those in need.

Together, we stand with Parsi-Parlo. 🤍

The present flood-like situation is a reminder that we must respect and protect nature. Unplanned activities, destruction of natural resources, and disturbance of the environment can lead to serious consequences.
Let us all work together to conserve our forests, rivers, and natural surroundings for a safer future.
During the rainy season, everyone is requested to stay alert, avoid unnecessary travel, and take safety precautions. Your safety and the safety of your loved ones are most important.
