Running Activities:
• Giving free coaching to the poor students by
specialized teachers.
• Distributing text and reference books to the poor students free of cost.
• Evaluating some poor students but first of all girls to upgrade their education.
• Arranging for the poor students, girls and women to admit some vocational training courses.
• Running some vocational courses under skill developmen
t initiative scheme with collaboration of other institute for the beneficial of the students,girls, youths and villagers.
• Giving some medical support to the poor people of the locality and distributing some clothes. Future Activities:
• Establishing in near future an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in our own institution building under the name of our institution for the local people.
• giving free of cost sporting activities in different sport fields. Target Group:
The target group are the people who are living in the area of Kandi, Islampur and other villages in the district of Murshidabad in West Bengal, India. In that area there are also living more than 600 farmers with their families. But the target is also to reach each any family to inform about the projects for giving the chance to everybody under the same basement. We are looking and giving our special view to the poor people and families. Our role as a Committee in the area:
In the frame of NGO-works our Organization is also working with West Bengal Government together. We are giving within the NCVT project many students and to the adults a perspective to learn such more than in the school and also they are getting after finishing the courses a certificate from the government. It is a kind of vocational training which could increase their chance to get a job. This certificate is the highest what they can get after giving their exam. The students are coming also from outside between 10 – 15 kilometers from different villages. It is also a target to arise with this kind of projects the economical power of the inhabitants. Our committee is doing this kind of work since March 2012 and within NCVT there are also including such kind of programs like:
• Supporting girls and woman’s by getting NCVT education in one or more in our courses
• supporting and teaching handicapped and autistic people to take place in the social society
• supporting children and young people in sporting activities like cricket
The inhabitants of this area are taken our offers with pleasure and the number of our students is arising.
