This project was inaugurated on the world environment day, the 5th June 2014 in the presence of many esteemed guests and dignitaries. All the guests actively participated and contributed to enhance the beauty of the cause by planting at least one sapling in the pits. As per the plan, the project is to be carried out in multiple phases. However, in the initial phase, some 5000 pits were dug in Kasturbagram Vatika to plant saplings.
