The Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons Indore (AOSI) successfully organized a highly informative Clinical Meeting centered on Decision Making in Hand Trauma. The event brought together a dynamic mix of orthopaedic surgeons, residents, and trainees for an evening of academic excellence and collegial exchange.
🙏 Ceremonial Welcome
The program began with a warm welcome of Dr. Yogesh Sharma by Dr. Pradeep Chaudhari, setting a gracious tone for the evening and acknowledging the guest's contributions to hand surgery.
👨🏫 Invited Lecture
🔹 Dr. Yogesh Sharma, a renowned Hand Surgeon from Udaipur, delivered a powerful lecture titled:
📝 “My Journey with the PIP Joint”
He captivated the audience with his clinical journey, surgical techniques, and the evolution of his approach to PIP joint reconstruction.
🔹 He also shared in-depth insights into the notorious Scaphoid fractures, elaborating on the challenges of diagnosis, delayed healing, and various treatment strategies including conservative, percutaneous, and surgical approaches. The session generated rich discussion and practical learning for all attendees.
🧠 Scientific Presentation
Dr. Neeraj Valecha delivered a highly appreciated session on Fingertip Injuries (Case-Based Approach), focusing on structured decision-making and evidence-based interventions in emergency and OPD settings.
