Presentation of a Book to a Revered Guru
Shri Sinam Rajendra Singh recently presented his newly published panegyric volume, The Man Behind Many Smiles, to his revered Guru and mentor, Oja Govardhan Singh, retired Principal of C.C. Higher Secondary School, Sanjenthong. The book, for which I had the privilege of serving as the Chief Editor and contributing a few write-ups, is a heartfelt tribute to an inspiring personality whose life and work have touched countless hearts.
The occasion was marked by warmth, gratitude, and deep respect as teacher and disciple shared cherished moments together, fondly reminiscing about the golden days of school life and the invaluable lessons imparted by the mentor. The meeting stood as a beautiful reflection of the enduring Guru–Shishya Parampara, where reverence, affection, and lifelong gratitude continue to strengthen the sacred bond between teacher and student.
The exchange was not merely the presentation of a book, but a tribute of homage and thanksgiving to a mentor whose guidance helped shape generations of students and whose influence continues to inspire long after retirement.
