With heavy hearts, we gathered in silent unity to mourn the tragic loss of two innocent children and three civilian protestors at Tronglaobi. Their lives were cut short in an act that has shaken our conscience and left an unfillable void in our community.

The candlelight protest was not just an expression of grief, but a call for justice, accountability, and humanity. Each flame lit was a symbol of remembrance, a voice against injustice, and a prayer for peace.

We stand together in sorrow. We stand together in truth.
May their souls rest in peace, and may justice prevail.

On 19th May, 2024 Rural Development Association RDA Sabantongba Awang organized a recognition ceremony to honor 53 students who appeared HSLC and HSE examination 2024, celebrating their achievements regardless of grades.

Sabantongba Apunba Committee organised a sit in protest along with a peaceful rally against the brutal killing of two Meitei students Hijam Linthoingambi & Phijam Hemanjit.

Pictures of the said two students who had gone missing in July are going viral on social media. While one of them shows their dead bodies in gory detail, the other shows them sitting in fear, and in the background are armed men with their guns clearly visible.

We strongly condemn this act of inhumanity.
The culprits deserve capital punishment.
