Apunba Imagi Machasing (AIMS), Manipur condoled the death of Shri La Ganesan, Hon'ble Governor of Nagaland and erstwhile Governor of Manipur. Shri La Ganesan was not only a Governor in name, but also a humble leader, simple and compassionate. During his time with us in Manipur, he was rooted with the people, always accessible and ready to listen. His presence reassured and challenged, and his counsel was sound that inspired many of us.
His death is an irreparable loss, not merely for Nagaland and Manipur but for the country as a whole. We will never forget him as a statesman with faith in unity, service, and democratic values.
Our prayers and thoughts are with his family in this difficult time. We join in their sorrow and wish they remain strong and find solace. May his great soul rest in peace.
