India’s Bug Bounty Ecosystem Just Got Stronger!!
We are proud to announce the successful launch of Bugtrooper — India's premier online bug bounty and cyber security research platform — incubated under iHUB DivyaSampark @ IIT Roorkee.
The platform was officially unveiled during the Live Hacking Event (7–8 March 2026) at GNEC IIT Roorkee by Air Mshl Balakrishnan Manikantan, PVSM, AVSM, VM Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Central Air Command, Indian Air Force, who emphasised the critical role of cybersecurity in national security. In his keynote, he emphasized a powerful message:
“Cybersecurity is not just for experts — it is central to national security.”
In a virtual address,Prof. .K. Pant reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to advancing India’s cybersecurity ecosystem through ethical hacking, industry collaboration, and cutting-edge research.
The two-day event brought together cybersecurity leaders, industry partners, and ethical hackers for a hybrid hackathon focused on strengthening collaborative cyber defense.
Expert sessions on tools like Subfinder, HTPx, and Google Dorking, along with live demonstrations, showcased the power of practical cybersecurity research.
With Bugtrooper, we aim to empower ethical hackers, enable crowdsourced vulnerability discovery, and strengthen security across defense, finance, IoT, and AI—driving a more resilient and self-reliant cybersecurity ecosystem for India.
