AFRICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION - TELANGANA
“We, the African students in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh (AP) in pursuance of our welfare do hereby
collectively agree to form an association which shall be a non-political, non-religious and non-
profit making association” (sec. 1 of asa constitution)
African Students Association Telangana State (ASA-TS) is an umbrella association of all African students
and community Associations here in Telangana state and beyond. ASA was form in June 2013 with the view of catering for the need's of the African Students and the black race residing here in the then defung Andhra Pradesh state in India to foster unity, peace and progress among our self's while promoting academic excellence, co-existence with the local communities helping in addressing and resolving issues affecting our welfare, health, social cultural activities etc. All African Students residing here in Telangana state are here by invited to get identified with us
AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION
1) To foster peace, unity and good conduct amongest African students in Telangana state
2) To assist address the issues affecting African students in general with assistance from
the individual’s country association.
3) To promote cultural integration and cordial relations between different African
students, Indians and students of other nationals.
4) To enhance capacity building to members through different seminars and workshops.
5) To peacefully negotiate with the appropriate authorities and inalienable rights of African
students in Telangana state.
6) Awarding members for extra ordinary and excellent achievements in both Academics and social activities. MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the African students Association in Telangana state is to enhance unity in
diversity amongst African students in universities, colleges and other education institution in Telangana state, promote the students general welfare through mutual understanding and enhance a culture of academic excellence of the students. ASA CONTACTS DETAILS
