*Minutes of the General Body Meeting – June 2026*

*1. Proceedings & Ceremonies*
The meeting officially commenced at 10:00 PM under the leadership of the *President, Lion Ashfaq Ahmad Siddiqui*. The proceedings began with a solemn *recitation from the Holy Quran* and *Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool (SAW)*. This was followed by the traditional *Lions Toast* and *Flag Invocation*. A *Necrology Ceremony* was then conducted, and a collective *Dua* was offered in respectful remembrance of departed souls.
*2. Presidential Address & Convention Report*
In his welcome address, *President Lion Ashfaq Ahmad Siddiqui* warmly greeted all attending members. He then presented a detailed and comprehensive report on the *Multiple District 305 Convention*, highlighting key milestones and updates.
*3. Presentation of Project Reports*
Comprehensive updates on the club’s recent *humanitarian initiatives* were presented by the respective *project chairpersons*:
*Tree Plantation Activities:* Chairperson *Lion Noor Ali Rowjani* presented a report on successful plantation drives carried out across various areas of Hyderabad and Latifabad.
*Collective Sacrifice (Ijtimai Qurbani) Projects:* Detailed reports were shared regarding the welfare sacrifice of a total of *nine cows* during *Eid-ul-Adha*:
*3rd Day of Eid-ul-Adha Project:* Supervised and executed under the leadership of Chairperson *Lion Sohail Sorathia*.
*Madarsa Qasmia, Chor Umerkot Project:* Led successfully by Chairperson *Lion Sohail Ahmed Chundrigar*.
*Kotri SITE Project:* Managed and supervised by Chairperson *Lion Asif Mughal*.
*Heatstroke Relief Camps:* Chairperson *Lion Azeem-ur-Rehman* presented an overview of the relief camps setup across Hyderabad and Latifabad.
*"One Day, One Project" Heatstroke Relief Camp:* The house reviewed and highly appreciated the specialized camp organized on *May 17, 2026*, under the leadership of *Lion Asif Memon*, *District Chairperson (Lions Alert & Club Twinning)*.
The general body highly commended the dedication of all chairpersons and members involved in executing these *impactful community projects*.
*4. Nomination Committee Report (Term 2026–2027)*
With the formal permission of the *Nomination Committee Chairman, PP Lion Shabbir Merchant*, *Past District Governor (PDG) Lion Muhammad Farooq Shaikhani* presented the *Nomination Committee Report*.
The following *office bearers* were formally proposed for the upcoming *Lionistic Year 2026–2027*:

*Treasurer:* Lion Azeem-ur-Rehman
*5. Secretariat Communications & Club Updates*
*Secretary Lion Muhammad Asif Memon* shared important institutional communications, announcements, and key club updates received from international and regional offices.
*6. Closing & Fellowship*
*President Lion Ashfaq Ahmad Siddiqui* shared his heartfelt farewell remarks, thanking the board and members for their immense cooperation throughout the year.
The meeting concluded with an enthusiastic *fellowship session* featuring:
A *lucky draw gift distribution*.
A celebratory *cake-cutting ceremony* led by *Secretary Lion Muhammad Asif Memon*.
A formal *Vote of Thanks* extended by *Treasurer Lion Azeem-ur-Rehman*.
The meeting officially adjourned on a high note, with all members enthusiastically reaffirming the *Lions International motto: “TOGETHER WE SERVE BETTER.”*
