Turaga Foundation felicitated teachers of Madapati Hanumantha Rao School Narayanaguda, Hyderabad with Smt.Voleti Satyavati Guru Vandanam Awards

On the occasion of Teachers' Day tomorrow, Turaga Foundation felicitates senior teachers of Madapati Hanumantha Rao Girls' High School, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad.
The Voleti Satyavathi Guru Vandana Awards are given to commemorate Smt Voleti Satyavathi garu, Satyavathi teacher, who had dedicated more than four decades of her life to the school, and influenced generation after generation of students. A scholar in Telugu, Hindi and Sanskrit, she had inculcated a deep love for language, literature and fraternity among thousands of students.
Smts E Vijitha Reddy, A Seetamahalakshmi, NP Kanya Kumari, C Sharada and GT Madhavi will be felicitated with a citation and a cash prize on the occasion. .
మాడపాటి హనుమంత రావు బాలికోన్నత పాఠశాలలో నాలుగు దశాబ్దాల పాటు తెలుగు ఉపాధ్యాయినిగా సేవలందించి, వైస్ ప్రిన్సిపాల్ గా పదవీ విరమణ చేసిన శ్రీమతి వోలేటి సత్యవతి అనేక తరాల విద్యార్థులకు అత్యంత గౌరవనీయురాలైన గురువు.

తురగా జానకిరాణి రచయిత్రి, బాల సాహితీ వేత్త, ప్రసారకర్త, కమ్యూనికేషన్ నిపుణురాలు సమాజ సేవిక. తన సార్థకమైన జీవితంలో ఆమె ఎన్నో విశిష్ట రచనలు చేసి తనదైన చెరగని ముద్ర వేసి సాహితీ ప్రపంచాన్ని సుసంపన్నం చేయడంతో పాటు అసంఖ్యాకమైన జీవితాలను అనేక విధాలుగా స్పృశించి చిరస్మరణీయురాలిగా నిలిచారు. తురగా జానకిరాణి జయంతి సందర్భంగా తురగా ఫౌండేషన్ నివాళి.

Today is the birth anniversary of Smt Turaga Janaki Rani, writer, broadcaster, communication consultant and social activist. Smt Janaki Rani marked her presence in the literary world with an extensive repertoire and versatile writing. She was an unmatched expert on broadcasting and literature for children, influencing many generations of children and gave expert advice to international organisations on communication for children.

Recipient of many awards and honours, Janaki Rani is remembered today by many people for her empathetic support and guidance.

తురగా ఫౌండేషన్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో తురగా జానకీరాణి కథల పోటీ 2024 ఫలితాలు ఎట్టకేలకు ప్రకటిస్తున్నాం.
ఎట్టకేలకు అనడానికి కారణం పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో కథలు రావడం, వాటన్నింటినీ చదివి జడ్జిలు నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడానికి టైం పట్టింది కనుక.

10 ఉత్తమ కథలకు బహుమతితో పాటు, మరొక 10 సంకలనంలో ప్రచురిస్తాం. వీలుని బట్టి పోటీకి వచ్చిన ఎంట్రీల నుంచి మరిన్ని కథలు సంకలనంలో చేర్చే అవకాశం ఉంది. ఆయా రచనల సొంతదారులకు వ్యక్తిగతంగా తెలియచేస్తాం.

The Fellows for the Narender Revelli National Media Fellowships 2023 are selected. The Fellowships are given by Turaga Foundation and are administered by the Department of Communication, University of Hyderabad to early and mid-career journalists who propose, research and publish stories with support from the Fellowship. This year the theme is Young India - Activism and Social Justice.

The selected candidates are

Vikram Raj, Delhi, writing for the Outlook magazine
Neetu Singh, a senior journalist based in Lucknow, writing for BehanBox
Tej Prakash Bhardwaj, from Delhi, doing multimedia reporting for Patriot portal.
Deepanwita Niyogi from Delhi, writing for Tehelka and
Dharani B, Chennai, reporting for Times Now News Network.
