We often speak of progress.
But no one tells you about its price.
The rivers we dried.
The hills we leveled.
The trees we murdered in the name of growth.
We pay with our air, our peace, our health —
and soon, perhaps, our survival.
What if real progress was not building higher —
but protecting what lies beneath our feet?
What if the smartest cities were the ones that let nature live among us?
