Existing institutions for Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) will be upgraded, and new AHP institutions will be established across both private and government sectors. This initiative will cover 10 selected disciplines, including optometry, radiology, anesthesia, OT Technology, Applied Psychology, and Behavioural Health, and will add 100,000 AHPs over the next five years.

This landmark step reflects the strong commitment of the Government of India under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi toward strengthening the healthcare ecosystem, generating skilled employment, and ensuring accessible, quality healthcare for all. We congratulate the Government of India and Hon’ble PM Modi on this forward-looking and impactful initiative.
