A Small Session, A Lasting Impact
In the quiet hills of Chongrang, Gyalshing District, Sikkim — a group of 32 young students gathered with open hearts and curious minds.
On 8th September 2026, under the SBIF - Sanjeevani Project, Bhavishya Bharat brought a simple but powerful gift to Lower Chongrang Junior High School: knowledge.
Knowledge about handwashing — because clean hands save lives.
Knowledge about menstrual hygiene — because no girl should feel shame about her own body.
Knowledge about adolescent changes — because every child deserves to understand who they're becoming.
We watched shy smiles turn into confident questions. We watched children who had never talked about these things openly, laugh, learn, and ask for more.
Each child went home not just with a hygiene kit in their hands, but with the beginning of habits that will protect them for a lifetime.
Because sometimes, changing a future starts with something as simple as teaching a child to wash their hands. 🌱
