A group of friends literally crazy to support & help people came together and committed to do this on a regular and consistent basis. We started reaching to our circle of friends and gradually, with the word of mouth and various interactions, the contributors kept increasing. Our Team
The MAD group started with just two friends Vijay and Anamika coming together. Later they were accompani
ed by Vijaya, & Vandana and now Manish & Maria and Namit Jain is the latest addition to the team. Apart from this team, we have a group of regular contributors from across the world (Australia, UK, Singapore, US) and a group of on ground soldiers who help us during the drives by rendering their time and services. Our Commitment
Unlike many other NGOs, MAD would focus only on contributing – in every way possible. The members of this committee can contribute any amount, starting from Rs. 100 and/or more on a monthly basis. We together identify orphanages, old age homes and slums in and around Hyderabad, focusing places where other NGOs don’t normally reach and contribute. The idea is to reach where help is not reaching already. We also believe that lot of people have money today but not Time. We therefore focus on spending time at the orphanages and old age homes instead of just donating their groceries. We are inclined to provide that affection and warmth they so much desire and deserve. We are committed to utilizing every penny donated directly to the end receiver.
100% of the funds received are utilized for charitable cause. The funds collected are not used for administration, transportation, publicity or marketing. These expenses are borne by the members of MAD themselves. We also ensure we do not send cash contributions as much as possible to any institute. We instead purchase the items and deliver them ourselves. This also gives us an opportunity to connect with the inmates and spread love.
