History

A group of friends literally crazy to support & help people came together and committed to do this on a regular and consistent basis. We started reaching to our circle of friends and gradually, with the word of mouth and various interactions, the contributors kept increasing. Our Team
The MAD group started with just two friends Vijay and Anamika coming together. Later they were accompani

ed by Vijaya, & Vandana and now Manish & Maria and Namit Jain is the latest addition to the team. Apart from this team, we have a group of regular contributors from across the world (Australia, UK, Singapore, US) and a group of on ground soldiers who help us during the drives by rendering their time and services. Our Commitment
Unlike many other NGOs, MAD would focus only on contributing – in every way possible. The members of this committee can contribute any amount, starting from Rs. 100 and/or more on a monthly basis. We together identify orphanages, old age homes and slums in and around Hyderabad, focusing places where other NGOs don’t normally reach and contribute. The idea is to reach where help is not reaching already. We also believe that lot of people have money today but not Time. We therefore focus on spending time at the orphanages and old age homes instead of just donating their groceries. We are inclined to provide that affection and warmth they so much desire and deserve. We are committed to utilizing every penny donated directly to the end receiver.

100% of the funds received are utilized for charitable cause. The funds collected are not used for administration, transportation, publicity or marketing. These expenses are borne by the members of MAD themselves. We also ensure we do not send cash contributions as much as possible to any institute. We instead purchase the items and deliver them ourselves. This also gives us an opportunity to connect with the inmates and spread love.

Winter Kit Distribution Drive 2024

Starting December 25th, our dedicated volunteers will brave the cold winter nights to distribute 1,200 winter kits to the homeless across Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kashmir. With compassion and determination, they will hit the streets to ensure no one is left without warmth this season.

Each winter kit, costing INR 300, will include:
• 1 Blanket
• 1 Pair of Warm Socks
• 1 Pair of Warm Gloves
• 1 Woollen Cap

This is the final call for contributions. Your generosity can bring warmth to someone in need, and all donations are income tax claim eligible.

For many braving the harsh streets of Delhi, Hyderabad, and potentially Kashmir, warmth is a distant dream. This winter, the MAD2 Winter Drive aims to provide comfort and hope to those in need.

Each kit costs just Rs. 280 and includes:
• A high-quality blanket
• A woolen cap
• Warm socks
• Woolen gloves

Our incredible volunteers will be on the streets, distributing these kits with compassion to those struggling against the cold.

Exciting News: Making a Difference is now registered to provide 12A & 80G tax exemption certificates! Your donation is not only an act of kindness but also eligible for tax benefits when filing your returns.

As the founder of Making A Difference - Charity Organization a cause that has been close to my heart since its launch in 2009, I’m reaching out to you today with a request that has the power to transform lives this winter.

The chill of winter is something we can often shield ourselves from with a cozy blanket, warm socks, or a woolen cap. But for many, especially those braving the harsh streets of cities like Delhi, Hyderabad, and this year potentially Kashmir, warmth remains a distant dream.

This winter, we’re reigniting the MAD2 Winter Drive—a mission to provide warmth, comfort, and hope to those who need it most. Each kit we distribute costs just Rs. 280, and includes:

Education is a fundamental necessity for every child, providing the foundation for a secure and self-reliant future. Unfortunately, many children in our country either face difficulties accessing basic education or cannot afford it.

To help meet these needs, we at MAD2– Making A Difference (Charitable Trust) have been supporting education and other academic needs of children in need by offering sponsorships since 2013. Our sponsorships are aimed at enabling children.

To ensure fairness and direct the sponsorships to those who need them most, we have established a simple process to assess, review, audit and approve all requests.
