AIESEC Hyderabad’s Adhikaar is a 5 month long project with close to 70 Women Empowerment Workshops in several NGOs, schools, colleges and corporate establishments in the city. The workshops wold be on Women Entrepreneurship, Health Care, Self Defense among other spheres. These workshops would target disadvantaged women and young individuals, directly impacting close to 60,000 people. As a global
, youth run organization dealing with an issue as important as Women Empowerment, we AIESECers along with the numerous international interns that work along with us, know that proper and organized teaching about Women Empowerment and its awareness will go a long way. As a part of Community Development Programs last year, we impacted over 15,000 young individuals of the 14-22 age groups and intend to increase that number significantly this time around. This is one of our many projects to live up to our goal as an organization which engages youth to work towards a positive impact on society.
