The Bright Spark Program is a holistic men
toring initiative that creates mindful and ‘caring’ learning spaces for underserved learners (6 to 15 year-olds) by integrating fundamental academic knowledge with higher-order thinking skills and vital life skills so that they can become active, responsible, and compassionate participants in their communities and in the world at large. The Hunger Heroes of the Feeding Program reach out to the homeless, each Sunday, with freshly cooked meals while the Transformers team provides basic hygiene, first-aid, and mental succor to the city’s abandoned. Women of Courage is a gender awareness program that aims to build safe spaces of dialogue and engage and empower adolescent girls at government schools and low-income schools. It sparks and sustains crucial conversations on teen health and sanitation, taboos and myths, the gender gap in education, and safety rights.
