(Official Account) Youngistaan Foundation, registered and Award Winning NGO, is a Hyderabad-based voluntary outfit that organizes and engages socially aware individuals and spearheads multiple social programs to make meaningful and empathetic interventions in the targeted areas of homelessness & poverty, education, and gender awareness. ACTIVE PROGRAMS:

The Bright Spark Program is a holistic mentoring initiative that creates mindful and ‘caring’ learning spaces for underserved learners (6 to 15 year-olds) by integrating fundamental academic knowledge with higher-order thinking skills and vital life skills so that they can become active, responsible, and compassionate participants in their communities and in the world at large. The Hunger Heroes of the Feeding Program reach out to the homeless, each Sunday, with freshly cooked meals while the Transformers team provides basic hygiene, first-aid, and mental succor to the city’s abandoned. Women of Courage is a gender awareness program that aims to build safe spaces of dialogue and engage and empower adolescent girls at government schools and low-income schools. It sparks and sustains crucial conversations on teen health and sanitation, taboos and myths, the gender gap in education, and safety rights.

A little colour can change how a space feels!

At Telangana Minorities Residential School, employees from TRIMONT picked up their brushes and turned everyday walls into something a little more meaningful by filling them with colour, creativity and messages around education, character, confidence, equality and women’s empowerment.

Because sometimes, a wall can do more than brighten a space. It can inspire, encourage and remind you of what you’re capable of.

Here’s to an afternoon of messy brushes, big ideas and an even bigger impact!

This Su***de Prevention Month, let’s ask the second question. Let’s listen a little longer, remind someone that they matter, and make space for conversations that are often left unsaid.

Because prevention isn’t just about one conversation. It’s about building communities where people feel seen, heard and supported.

And that starts with all of us. 💛

Meet Gokul. 💜

Gokul joined the Livelihood and Hunger Program with one simple intention: to serve people. He found the perfect opportunity to do that here, helping cook and distribute meals to people experiencing hunger and homelessness.

For him, volunteering is about using the abilities we have to help others. He believes that if we have the chance to do more for someone, we should take it.

What started as a simple wish to serve has become something he continues to make time for.

What happens to a pad after it’s used? 🤔

For many schools, finding a safe, practical way to manage menstrual waste is still a challenge.

So, we went looking for better solutions.

Across 54 schools in Hyderabad, our needs analysis revealed some common infrastructure gaps, from inadequate incineration temperatures and unsuitable piping to installation heights that made existing systems difficult to use.

So, we built a better way forward ‼️

✔️ 900°C+ incineration for safer disposal
✔️ A specialised GI pipe system for safer emissions
✔️ Optimal installation heights for greater accessibility

But infrastructure is only one part of the solution.

We educate, we empower, and we work alongside schools to build systems that can actually work in their spaces. Because managing a period safely isn’t just about having access to a pad.

It’s also about what happens next.

And that next step should never come at the cost of dignity.

Meet Vaishnavi. 💜

What started as an internship with Youngistaan slowly became something she wanted to continue long after her internship ended. Today, she’s still here as a volunteer, choosing to spend her time showing up for others.

Through her journey, Vaishnavi has grown to become more empathetic, considerate, and understanding — learning to look beyond her own experiences and see things from someone else’s perspective.

For her, the most meaningful way to spend your free time is through service. And sometimes, the impact of volunteering isn’t just about the lives you touch — it’s about the person you become along the way.
