As part of ongoing , sessions on school bell activities designed to ameliorate the health & academic performance of children have been performed in 17 schools last week by Carengrow health coordinators. Activities like drinking water after each bell, stretching/spot marching, meditation sessions were carried out by teachers who are given prior orientation & training as part of the programme.

Our 4 parts of end to end preventive health programme is a first of its kind in India designed to cater all the health needs. Our COM-B ('capability', 'opportunity', 'motivation' and 'behaviour') model is targeted to nurture positive habits in children that will develop into lifelong habits.

As part of our ongoing program for 44 public school & 800+ sanitation workers in Tirupati, health screening for sanitation workers were conducted by Carengrow on-filed health coordinators. Our periodic health screenings that include 40 approved parameters i.e. vitals, eyes, ears, skin etc. aids in early detection of any disease that the worker is facing and helps in early intervention & prevention.

The duty of a doctor shouldn’t limit to just giving medicine to treat the disease, it should be about the prevention of the disease from reappearing and providing the patient with adequate information about the same. It is also the Doctors duty to contribute in groups towards the greater good of the society by caring for the healthy individuals as well and making them not fall sick.

Sanitation workers play a key role in keeping the city clean but their health is most vulnerable. The working conditions of these sanitary workers have remained unchanged for over a century. Apart from the social atrocities that these workers face, they are exposed to certain health problems by the virtue of their occupation and this can be prevented through proper preventive healthcare measures.

Carengrow has started the health assessments for more than 800+ sanitation workers in Tirupati. Also, behavior change communication program is conducted by our healthcare workers 2 times in a day to impart education regarding personal hygiene, safer work procedures. Telecalling is done to ensure they go for further diagnosis/doctor consultation and then those records are collected and further digitized.

As a part of Tirupati smart city E-health tender project that Carengrow is executing, sessions on behaviour change through COMB theory​ (capacity, opportunity, motivation)​ ​were conducted in 47 municipal schools across the city. Our cutting edge end to end preventive health programme, with all 4 components of prevention i.e, screenings, intervention, community engagement and health behaviour change through COMB theory, health & behavioral issues in children can be deducted early and required actions can be taken at the right time to avoid complications in future.

Our mission is to reduce the disease burden statistics and to improve academic performance while doing so with health behaviour change.

is celebrated each year on 14th June to mark the birth of Karl Landsteiner, inventor of the AB0 blood group system.

Every year, millions of people & children across India are in need of blood transfusion. However, in 2016, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare reported a donation of 10.9 million units against a requirement of 12 million units. There is still a scarcity of 2 million units and through a regular donation of blood, we can ensure that all the individuals and communities have access to safe and quality-assured blood and blood products.

On this day, let's take a pledge to donate blood regularly and spread smiles. Everyone who can donate blood should consider making regular voluntary, unpaid donations so we can have adequate blood supplies to save lives.
