About Athma
Athma, A Secular and Non-Profit Organization, Established in 1995 by a Group of Young Social Activists and Activists and Professionals from theatre and other cultural media with a view to ensure the quality of human life through promoting the values of universal brotherhood, peace, human dignity, national integration, communal harmony, ensure sustainable livelihood opportunity to the
needy and vulnerable communities in the society. The Athma was registered under the Societies Registration Act under 1350 Fasli (Act 1 of 1350 F) with Registration No.485 of 1995
Mission -
To facilitate the process of organized efforts of capacity building for cottage industry, cattle rearing, agriculture, natural resources, environment, health, mutual relations building among poor, weak and unemployed community of Andhra Pradesh and other states, so that they develop & keep on developing and do not seek help from Government or Non-Government Organizations but become enlightened about their rights and empowerment
