INDIRA MAHILA VIKAS FOUNDATION (IMV.Foundation) is an organization working for poor and needy people in Andhra Pradesh State, India. , established in the Year 1997. The IMV Foundation was established with a foresight by focusing its activities to develop the disadvantaged rural settlers and slum dwellers primarily in AP and bringing them to be aware of health and hygiene, literacy and vocationa
l trainings so as to earn their daily bread independently and to provide rehabilitation to street children, destitute, orphans and the old aged. Even more than four and half decades of independence has been enjoyed by us still a lot of people across INDIA do not know what is the advantage of independence and are thus most of them are deprived of absolute Independence due to POVERTY, ILLITERACY AND IGNORANCE. By the culmination with these triangular evil forces, prevalence of street children, expansion of slums and increment of illiteracy are being ceaselessly progressed. So, the Foundation is committed to establish for better society with human face rooting out the stigma of evils in phase wise on its own and is ready to carry on its mission to supplement its services as and when warranted by the state are central govt. agencies or with any philanthropists / charitable personalities to enable this public task to be made fruitful at the earliest for progress and prosperity of the disadvantaged. All the programs of the Foundation play a crucial role in inducting self confidence in all the aspirants and participants so as to get their daily bread and creation of self employment by themselves and become a role model to all such people who are leading directionless lives for existence and survival in the rural belts and slum areas . The Foundation built expertise & focus for the empowerment of youth and women particularly living in urban and semi-urban areas.
