🌙✨𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲🌈

On the occasion of 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐢 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢, 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 teams, children, young adults and partners across Rainbow cities came together for 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔—an evening to stand beside our homeless neighbours, listen to their stories, and experience, even for a moment, what it means to live without a safe place to call home.

We shared conversations, food, smiles, drawings, songs and stories with families living under the open sky. Children spoke about education and dreams; community women shared their lived realities; young adults reflected on their own journeys. And together, we remembered 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐡𝐢’𝐬 𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲.

Because homelessness is not just the absence of a roof. It is the absence of safety, opportunity, education, dignity and belonging.
And 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 reminds us that meaningful change begins when we stop looking at people and start standing with them.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒑𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆, 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔?

🌈𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 had the privilege of showcasing our work at the '𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒂 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔', held on 30 September at Hyatt Centric, New Delhi, organised by 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞.

The Summit brought together inspiring Corporate Leaders and Changemakers from branding, marketing, startups, MSMEs, technology, AI and innovation —creating a wonderful space for meaningful conversations, networking and new connections.

For us, it was more than an Exhibition Stall. It was an opportunity to share our purpose, amplify the voices of children, and explore meaningful partnerships for greater social impact.💛

Three days. Many reflections. Countless possibilities.✨

The 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 was a beautiful celebration of learning, reflection and new beginnings.

The day began with the Rainbow Prayer & Preamble, followed by reflections from our young friends.
An inspiring session by Ms. Anshu Vaish, Retd. IAS Officer & former Secretary, School Education & Literacy, Govt. of India, explored citizenship, governance and civic rights.

A powerful conversation by Mr. Bezwada Wilson, National Convener – Safai Karmachari Andolan, opened hearts and minds around discrimination, dignity, self-respect and social justice.

The three-day journey culminated with an overview on Yuva Mitra Groups & Yuva Shakti Forum—a youth-led circle of support, connection and collective strength, carrying the spirit of Rainbow beyond Home care.

🌈𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 | 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐: 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭. 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞. 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞.

Day 2 of the Udaan began with the warmth of Rainbow Prayer & Preamble, followed by reflections from our young Rainbow friends on their Day 1 learnings.
The day unfolded through meaningful conversations on success, aspirations, caste, class, power, opportunities, gender, s*xuality, scientific temperament and thinking, and the impact of social media.

✨Our inspiring Resource Persons encouraged the young participants to question, reflect, think critically and see new possibilities through sessions on:
• Caste, Class, Power & Opportunities — Mr. Zubair Idrisi
• Sexuality, Gender, Human Body & Disorders — Dr. Mani
• Scientific Temperament & Thinking — Ms. Chandana Chakrabarti
• Social Media & Its Impact — Ms. Bhasha Singh

🪘The day ended on a vibrant note with a Karma folk dance by tribal artists from Jharkhand—bringing everyone together in rhythm, joy and connection.🤝

🌈 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 | 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏: 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦. 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭. 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞.

The 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 began 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧 – 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 with a day of meaningful reflections, learning and shared dreams as young Rainbow friends from five cities came together to prepare for their journey from Rainbow Home Care to independent living.

🙏The day opened with the Rainbow Prayer and Preamble, followed by engaging sessions, they explored their dreams, anxieties, and aspirations during this critical shift — understanding what it takes to become self-reliant and contributing citizens in society.

🕰️“𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞” activity took them into their age at 35, helping them imagine their careers, families and roles in society—while reflecting on the strength and resilience that brought them this far.
❤️The day closed with a powerful reflection: true success is not only what we achieve, but who we become.

We are delighted to announce this year’s 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩, a three-day residential experience bringing together 150 adolescents from the Northern cities of the 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 in 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢, 𝟐𝟎–𝟐𝟐 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫🗓️

Udaan creates a safe and joyful space for 17-year-olds to reflect on their journeys, discover their strengths, nurture their dreams and step confidently towards adulthood.🌱

Three days of learning, sharing, friendships, dreams and new beginnings.

𝟓𝟓 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 • 𝟒 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 • 𝟑 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 • 𝟏 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 — to place children at the heart of decisions that shape their lives.

🌈𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐰 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, under its key lead organisation 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐕𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐤𝐚, brought together colleagues from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Chennai for a three-day 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at St. Thomas Mount International Centre, Chennai.

Through participatory methods, facilitation, child participation review & reflection, resource mapping and the pillars of PRA, the workshop created a space to listen deeper, question existing practices and reimagine meaningful participation.

Because children are not merely recipients of care—they are partners, contributors and powerful voices in shaping their own futures.
Together, we continue to build a culture where children and communities are partners in shaping brighter futures.🌈

Today, she works as a 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 in her community, turning her learning into action and using her knowledge to support and empower others.
What makes her journey truly special is that she shares what she learns—encouraging children and Young Adults at Rainbow Home to understand their rights, ask questions and believe in their own potential.💜

🌈𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁. 𝗔 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗔 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲✨

On 27 August 2026, we were delighted to welcome the 𝗕𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗷 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃 𝗖𝗦𝗥 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 to our 𝗣𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗯𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺🌈.
The team visited the newly started Phulenagar ECCD Centre and Shankarsheth New RCCLC, and interacted with our young adults, witnessing their journeys and the support systems that help them move forward with confidence.

The team witnessed our efforts to expand access to care, protection and opportunities for children and youth, and encouraged them to continue embracing the support and possibilities offered by the Rainbow Homes Program.
