๐Ÿ›‘ STOP! Donโ€™t โ€œRescueโ€ That Fledgling! ๐Ÿฆ
A baby bird on the ground is usually learning to fly, not abandoned! Interfering can cause more harm than good. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

๐Ÿšจ How to Help (If REALLY Needed):
โ€ข ๐Ÿ‘€ Observe: Watch from a distance (1 hour minimum). Parents are likely watching, too!
โ€ข ๐ŸŒณ Safety Lift: If in danger (cat/road), gently place it on a higher branch or bush nearby.
โ€ข ๐Ÿšซ Natureโ€™s Law: If a natural predator takes it, DO NOT interfere. That is the circle of life. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆ…
โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ž Call Experts: If visibly injured or a nestling (no feathers), call your Forest/Wildlife Department IMMEDIATELY!
โ€ข ๐Ÿก NEVER Take It Home: Its best chance is outside.
โ€ข โŒ NO Uncertified Rescuers: They can cause further harm. Only trust professionals!

A Pangolin is the most trafficked animal on our planet ๐ŸŒŽ. It is the only mammal with scales and sadly, this is one of the biggest reasons for its high demand in illegal animal trade.

Did you know that Pangolins are found across various states of India? ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ and are hunted for itโ€™s meat and smuggled overseas.

๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ names Pangolin as the first animal he would save on earth. An animal so beautiful, rare and innocent must not continue to be brutally killed by humans. This short video gives great insight on this crisis.

Pangolins have a place on our Ear to the Wild Foundationโ€™s elephantโ€™s back - it is a part of our logo ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ. Please like, share and learn more about pangolins by clicking on the link in our bio!

A Victim Of Electrocution...............................................................
Electrocution usually occurs when an animal makes contact with two energized wires or an energized wire & grounded structure.
It was not long ago when the talking point was the Critically Endangered "Great Indian Bustard" (GIB) losing to overhead power transmission lines in the state of Rajasthan & Gujarat.
According to IUCN, 15% of bat species are threatened with extinction.
New conservation threats related to the increasing energy demand worldwide have emerged in recent years. In particular, bats & flying fox fatalities at wind power & transmission lines cause the death of millions of bats every year across the world. ...............................................................
With decreasing resources on this planet, we call home & increasing expectations. It is for us to decide whether we thrive for long term conservation goals or settle for short term methods to benefit power companies in the name of "Sustainable Development" for we have a long way to go.
Don't we? ...............................................................

Pride Of North-East...............................................................
Lets talk of a successful conservation story................................................................
It must have been a shocking affair back in 1905- The One-Horned Rhino population had slipped to 75 individuals majorly of trophy hunting.
Today, more than 100 years later with numerous on field conservation efforts & stringent laws the population has increased to nearly 3600 individuals in the wild (2020).
While on our drive through the vastness of this habitat, a common talking was how Dudhwa National Park was closely associated to Assam. In 1984-85, rhinos from Assam were relocated to Dudhwa National Park, in an attempt to bring the rhino back to this region. A total of 43 individuals now inhibit Dudhwa................................................................
