🇮🇳 REGIONS BEYOND – COMMUNITY UPDATE
Dear Regions Beyond Family,
A brief update on Chalo Delhi/Let's Go To Delhi
A team of Christian leaders and representatives left for Delhi by train last night to participate in the Delhi Mahagarjana Sabha at Jantar Mantar tomorrow, 12th.
The gathering will raise several important concerns affecting the Christian community, including:
🔹 SC Status for Dalit Christians – Constitutional recognition and restoration of SC status.
🔹 Repeal of Anti-Conversion Laws – Repeal of state anti-conversion laws and justice for Christians affected by their implementation.
🔹 FCRA Concerns – Review/repeal of provisions viewed as restrictive and restoration of affected registrations and licenses.
🔹 Protection of Christian Minorities – Stronger protection against violence, attacks on churches, and violations of minority rights.
🔹 Minority Atrocities Act – Demand for stronger legal protection for Christian minorities and church properties.
🔹 Reservations for Christian BC-C/OBC Communities – Appropriate reservation and constitutional protection for eligible Christian communities.
Tomorrow's gathering is an opportunity for Christian leaders and communities to peacefully bring these concerns before the appropriate authorities.
Let us pray for peace, wisdom, unity, safety, and a meaningful outcome, and for all those travelling and participating.
Regions Beyond stands with the Church in prayer and is organizing participation from Delhi Christian Community and from Congress the opposition party of India,
As these important issues are brought forward through peaceful and lawful democratic engagement.
🙏 Please keep Delhi, the participants, and these concerns in your prayers.
