Many children are in need of homes and govt should open houses for children who need to be rescued, or in need of care. All "families" are not safe for the children. Our experience speaks. Some mothers keep children with us to rescue from their own husbands or boy friends or second husbands. Because they demand to give the children to use them also.

We, Sannihita org founded in the year 2000. Worked for campaign on women's rights and children, especially for girls.
In 2009 we started homes for homeless children those who are without single or both parents, or helpless guardians or abused relatives.
Our homes have been functioning for the last 15 years from 2009, with an aim to empower the helpless, abused needy marginalised and homeless children who beg and.ragpick in conditions where a child loses its childhood. We provide free accommodation, food and education to all the girl children and boys also are at our homes. We have four homes i.e in Secunderabad, one for boys Bollarum, in Hyderabad. Each home sheltering 60 children and follows up with the children who get admitted in Gurukulas, colleges etc.,
Like this each home has 100-125 children 's education and protection.
Till this year we are able to give personal care and attention to all the children who are in our care. We have accommodated around 1800 children in Sannihita girls and boys homes.
We never left children during the most challenging period that is Covid -19.
As there was a lockdown and wide spread of COVID, we have provided the ration to the guardians and children who have stayed with the parents/guardians most care to the children who are in the home
Because of the Covid 19, we have to take steps to give usual program education and health care. Delloitte's support through UW was so helpful. They never left us alone. We can never forget that help to our children's homes.
Our objective of reaching children to provide provisions worth Rs2000-3000 in a kit was successful. We have provided health kits and sports items to children to play during that hard time. We could also provide cosmetics, stationary and books to each girl and boy children who are staying outside our premises with guardians.
For those children, who are unable to come to girl homes during the lock down, the management itself has reached them in providing necessary provisions. We are looking forward for your support to continue with this noble cause.
In this context we have started digitl class rooms to cope up with any such situations and to have more reach.
Hope you could be part of our endeavour. The management, our team and children thank you all.
