AIC-CCMB hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and the Atal Innovation Mission Official, NITI Aayog Official, on 10 September 2026.

The delegation included Shri Nandan Kumar, Innovation Lead, Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog; Dr. Anshika Bhatnagar, Joint Director; Dr. Anusha U.S., Research Officer (Ayurveda); and Dr. Harsh*t Garg, Research Officer (Homoeopathy), from the Ministry of AYUSH.

The visit included an overview of the AIC-CCMB incubation ecosystem, interactions with startups, and discussion with Dr. Vinay Nandicoori, Director, CSIR-CCMB, focusing on AYUSH-related research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and potential areas of collaboration.

Congratulations to Gene to Protein on the inauguration of the G2P Marketplace Supply Vault at AIC-CCMB!

Founded by CCMB alumni Dr. Shradha Goenka, Gene to Protein has established the Supply Vault to provide researchers with seamless access to commonly used life science reagents, enzymes, kits, molecular biology products, and other laboratory essentials through a streamlined ordering and delivery system.

The facility was inaugurated by Dr Vinay Nandicoori, Director, Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology Dr. Nalam Rao, CEO, AIC-CCMB.

We wish the Gene to Protein team Dr. Kamal Saba, Dr Srinivas Volety, Debarghya Ghose, Ph.D., Dr. Snehal Waghmare and others continued success in strengthening research infrastructure and enabling scientific innovation.

AIC-CCMB recently hosted DAGAR Workshop for Research Scholars at CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) on “Frontiers Beyond Academia: Where Research Meets Real-World Impact.”

The workshop focused on entrepreneurship, innovation & translational research with discussions on venture creation, founder-led innovation journeys and funding opportunities. Participants also worked on a real-world case study designed around market discovery, commercialization strategy, and innovation translation.

Thanks to the speakers Usha Paliath Nalam Rao Dr. Aditi Mullick for sharing their insights and the participants for their active engagement throughout the program.

Glimpses of World Malaria Day 2026, “Accelerating India’s Path to Malaria Elimination by 2030” in collaboration with Consytel Life Sciences Pvt Ltd, an AIC-CCMB incubated startup.

Discussions focused on the need to close the last mile of malaria elimination through targeted, data-driven, and coordinated interventions, particularly in high-burden and hard-to-reach regions.

Expert talks and panel discussion included surveillance strengthening, regional strategies, and integration of scientific and public health approaches.
