The philosophy of GVALA was eloboratedly established by two scholarly disciples of Gauranga Maha Prabhu namely Srila Rupa Goswami and Srila Jeeva Goswami. In contrast to philosophies which motivate people to attain a state devoid of any qualities, feelings or features this philosophy proposes that the highest attainment consists in the experience of 'rasa' the 'juice' of a 'playful' - desireless -
participation in the eternal process of the ultimate reality which is the most relishable (rasa = 'the juicy') entity possible. This entity is called Govinda and the unseperable component of it which nourishes it with relish eternally is called Radhe. According to this philosophy the highest attainment of any jeeva (living creature), is to realize his actual inner identity as playing the role of a facilitator for the eternal play between Govinda the most relishable and Radhe the relish in him. GVALA trains people in meditating on this inner identity of each one of them through discourses, discussions, singing, dancing, story-telling, story-listening and imaginatively grasping their role in the eternal play of the 'director' Radhe-Govinda. GVALA believes that this leads to a stress-free mind, violence-free society and leads to inner peace in individuals. GVALA offers stress-elimination programs which include rasopasana, meditation and yoga. These programs can help overcome stress, depression and violent tendencies. The GVALA movement has been spreading peace across the local community in Hyderabad through diverse spiritual and social projects and environmental sustainability.
