Viransh Raj is a 3-year-11-month-old boy from a middle-class family in Manikonda, Hyderabad. He was identified with mild developmental delay, mild autism, and speech delay, which affected his communication, attention, and social interaction. His parents became concerned when he did not meet expected developmental milestones such as speaking, making eye contact, and playing with others.
On 28 March 2024, Viransh was enrolled at Ashray Akruti Rehabilitation Centre in Manikonda. In the beginning, he had difficulty adjusting. He showed low attention, limited response to instructions, and preferred to stay close to his parents. At Ashray Akruti Rehabilitation Centre, he received occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavioural therapy as part of a structured early intervention program.
Viransh showed gradual improvement. In the first few months, he began making eye contact and responding to his name with consistent support. Over time, he started using simple words, followed basic instructions, and showed interest in being around other children. After one year, he could speak in short sentences, participate in group activities, and manage daily tasks more independently.
