Greater Hyderabad Youth Association Greater Hyderabad Youth Association is a band of dedicated and energetic youth who are at the service of the society at any time of the day.

Inspired by the narration of experiences of problems in Indian society and youth, especially in Hyderabad and its surrounding areas. with the feeling of patriotism, Nationalism and true spirit of dedication towards service to Humanity, the Greater Hyderabad Youth Association (GHYA) was formed in the year 2010 and started rendering selfless service towards preservation of peace and tranquility in H

yderabad city, this act of youth responsibility was very much appreciated by the society and Police Department, since then GHYA a band of dedicated and energetic youth who are at the service of the society at any time of the day. GHYA provide assistance to youth for their noble Endeavour’s to bear fruit in public service, Education, Employment, sports, health, empowerment and also to the victims of communal riots, Natural calamities, Disasters, Epidemics without discrimination of race, religion, creed, and political options. Any person can help this humanitarian effort by donation in cash or kind, and by enrolling as a member and serving voluntarily in any of its activities.

The Greater Hyderabad Youth Association (GHYA) extends its heartfelt greetings on the auspicious occasion of the Laying of the Foundation Stone for Zone-II of the New High Court Buildings.

This landmark event marks a significant step towards strengthening the judicial infrastructure of Telangana and upholding the values of justice, transparency, and the rule of law. The presence of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India and other distinguished dignitaries will mark this occasion truly momentous and inspiring for the legal fraternity and the public alike.

DGP B. Sivadhar Reddy IPS participated in the celebrations on the occasion of completing 100 days of Suraksha Online Daily serving as the official voice of Telangana Police Department. Suraksha editor Dr. M. Ramesh and the team were congratulated for their efforts in this hundred days journey. It is said that not only Suraksha magazine, but police department is an information barrier, this needs to be strengthened in the information exchange.

Cyber Security Conclave Shield 2026 second edition started in Hyderabad. Government Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao Sir IAS, DGP Sivadhar Reddy Sir IPS, senior officials of central and state governments, law enforcement agencies, cyber security experts participated in the program. CyberShield 2026 has been set up to support victims, including the prevention of cybercrime.

State Women Safety Department respected ADGP Charusinha IPS said that 5,582 children have been freed through Operation Smile-XII programme which was undertaken for a month-long month to eradicate child labor system and identify missing children. 4,978 children of those rescued were brought to their parents, while 604 homeless were moved to shelter homes.

The National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) is set to organize the 4th National Lok Adalat of 2025 on 13th December 2025 under the leadership of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Chief Justice of India and Patron-in-Chief, NALSA, and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairman, NALSA.

This National Lok Adalat will be conducted across High Courts, District Courts, Tribunals, Consumer Forums, and Permanent Lok Adalats throughout the country. In Rajasthan, it will be held on 19.12.2025 in the High Court and 21.12.2025 in District Courts, Tribunals, and Revenue Courts; in Telangana, on 21.12.2025 and in Delhi, on 10.01.2026.

When a 24-year-old woman was brutally attacked with a knife in a South Mumbai nursing home, Traffic Constable Kiran Suryavanshi didn’t wait for backup. He ran straight into danger.

Posted in the Byculla Division, Kiran overpowered the attacker, disarmed him, and rescued the severely injured woman — saving her life before rushing her to the hospital.

The Mumbai Traffic Police lauded his heroism, sharing his photo with the words:
“PC Kiran Suryavanshi rescued a girl who was being held hostage during a knife attack… He overpowered the accused & ensured the girl was immediately admitted to hospital.”

In a moment that could have ended in tragedy, Kiran’s quick thinking and bravery stood as a reminder of what true duty and humanity look like.
