🌱 5-Day Intensive Training on Bioresource Management for Organic/Natural Farming 🌱

As Indian agriculture faces declining soil health, rising input costs, and climate stress, bioresource-based solutions offer a practical and locally grounded pathway for regeneration and resilience.

The Centre for Sustainable Agriculture and Grameen Academy invites applications for this 5-day residential training focused on bioresource management and rural enterprise development for organic and natural farming systems.

• Soil health and crop nutrition through bioresources
• Production of seeds, composts, biofertilizers & biopesticides
• Crop health diagnosis and advisory services
• Rural enterprise planning, finance, marketing & legal compliances

Dear Colleagues, Partners, Friends, and Fellow Travellers,

As we step into the new year, we do so with gratitude and purpose.

At the Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA), completing 21 years of work has reaffirmed a simple belief: farming must be economically viable, ecologically sustainable, and rooted in equity, dignity, and justice.

Over the past year, we continued strengthening the foundations for agroecological transition—farmer-led seed systems and seed sovereignty, community-owned seed enterprises, decentralised bioresource centres, learning ecosystems, and strong farmer institutions. This is slow, careful work, built on farmer knowledge, science, and trust.

As climate volatility, soil degradation, water stress, and livelihood insecurity intensify, agroecology is no longer a niche alternative. It is a credible, scalable pathway to resilient livelihoods, healthy ecosystems, and safe food systems.

Our aspiration for the year ahead is clear:
to move agroecology from the margins to the mainstream, and from scattered successes to landscape-, institutional-, and policy-level transitions—the CSA way.

Grateful to our farmers, field teams, partners, and supporters for walking this journey with us. 🌱
