ప్రసిద్ధ నటులు శ్రీ ఎం మురళీమోహన్ తన 61 వ వివాహ దినోత్సవం (19.6.2026) సందర్భం గా హైదరాబాద్ లోని 'దేవ్ నర్' అంధ విద్యార్థుల పాఠశాల లో గడిపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి విశిష్ట అతిధిగా గీతా గాన ప్రవచన ప్రచారకర్త, భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ వ్యవస్థాపకులు డాII ఎల్ వి గంగాధర శాస్త్రి హాజరయ్యారు. అంధ విద్యార్థులు తాము చేసిన అనేక కంప్యూటర్, సైన్స్ ప్రక్రియలను చేసి చూపించి 'శభాష్' అనిపించుకున్నారు. జ్ఞాన నేత్రం తో ప్రపంచాన్ని దర్శిస్తూ, ఉన్నతమైన లక్ష్యాలతో కర్మయోగుల్లా పనిచేస్తూ, ఏకాగ్రత తో ప్రయాణాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తూ స్ఫూర్తినందిస్తున్న విద్యార్థులను గంగాధర శాస్త్రి ప్రశంసించారు. తాను శ్రీమాన్ డాII ఆర్ వి ఎస్ ఎస్ అవధానులు తో కలిసి రచించిన భగవద్గీత సంక్షిప్త పరిచయం గ్రంథం 'బ్రెయిలీ' పుస్తక రూపం లో ఈ పాఠశాల లో ప్రత్యక్షం కావడం తనకు అమితానందాన్ని కలుగజేసిందని గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. రామాయణ భారతాది ఇతిహాసాలను పిల్లలకు పరిచయం చేస్తే ....నైతికవిలువలతో పాటు, ఆత్మస్థయిర్యం, ఎంతటి దుఃఖం కలిగినా చలించని స్థితప్రజ్ఞ లక్షణం, ఉన్నతమైన లక్ష్యం ఏర్పడతాయని అన్నారు. ఈ సందర్భం గా విద్యార్థులు గంగాధర శాస్త్రి సమక్షం లో భగవద్గీత లోని 'పురుషోత్తమ ప్రాప్తి యోగా'న్ని పారాయణచేసి అభినందనలందుకున్నారు. మూడు దశాబ్దాలుగా వేల మంది అంధ విద్యార్థులకు అనేక ఉన్నతమైన సంస్థలలో ఉద్యోగాలు పొందేలా అనితరసాధ్యమైన శిక్షణా సేవలందిస్తున్న 'దేవనర్' సంస్థ నిర్వాహకులు ప్రసిద్ధ నేత్ర వైద్యులు పద్మశ్రీ సాయిబాబా గౌడ్, శ్రీమతి జ్యోతి లకు గంగాధర శాస్త్రి 'భగవద్గీత గ్రంథం' తో హృదయపూర్వక అభినందనలు, శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ఇటువంటి సేవాతత్పరులకు 'పద్మశ్రీ' పురస్కారాలతో పాటు శాశ్వత ప్రాతిపదికన చేయూతను అందించడం ప్రభుత్వాల బాధ్యత అన్నారు.

'పద్మశ్రీ' పురస్కృత శ్రీ మురళీమోహన్ సేవలను అభినందిస్తూ, భగవద్గీత గ్రంథం బహూకరిస్తూ పెళ్లి రోజు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేసారు. ఆయన ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ఆహ్వానించి ఉండకపోతే ఈ రోజు వృధా అయిపోయేదని భావిస్తున్నానన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం లో సుమన్ టీవీ సీఈఓ శ్రీ ఏ ప్రభు, శ్రీ బి ఎస్ రావు, శ్రీ వివేక్ నరసింహం తదితరులు లు పాల్గొన్నారు. అనంతరం శ్రీ మురళీ మోహన్, శ్రీ గంగాధర శాస్త్రి లు విద్యార్థులకు బోజనాలను వడ్డించారు.

Renowned actor Sri M. Murali Mohan chose to spend his 61st wedding anniversary (June 19, 2026) at the Devnar School for Blind Students in Hyderabad. Distinguished guest Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry—Singer, global preacher and propagator of Bhagavadgita and founder chairman of Bhagavadgita Foundation—was invited to participate in the event.

The visually impaired students won the admiration of all present by demonstrating several computer-based and scientific projects, showcasing their remarkable abilities and determination. Dr. Gangadhara Sastry praised the students for viewing the world through the “eye of knowledge,” pursuing lofty goals, and continuing their journey with focus, confidence, and inspiration. He expressed immense joy upon seeing the Braille edition of the book “A Brief Introduction to the Bhagavadgita,” which he co-authored with Dr. R.V.S.S. Avadhanulu, being used in the school. He noted that introducing children to the great epics such as the Ramayana and Mahabharata helps cultivate moral values, inner strength, emotional resilience, and the qualities of a Sthitaprajna—one who remains steadfast even in the face of great sorrow—while also inspiring higher ideals in life.

On this occasion, the students recited the Purushottama Prapti Yoga chapter of the Bhagavadgita in the presence of Dr. Gangadhara Sastry and received his heartfelt appreciation. He congratulated Padma Shri Sai Baba Goud and Smt. Jyothi, the dedicated administrators of the Devnar institution, for rendering unparalleled service to thousands of visually impaired students over the past three decades. Presenting them with copies of the Bhagavadgita, he conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes. He further remarked that it is the responsibility of governments not only to honor such selfless servants of society with awards like the Padma Shri, but also to extend sustained institutional support to their noble work.

Dr. L.V.Gangadhara Sastry also sang selected verses from the Bhagavadgita and explained their practical relevance in daily life. Congratulating Padma Shri awardee Sri Murali Mohan for his service to society, he presented him with a copy of the Bhagavadgita and conveyed his wedding anniversary wishes. He remarked that had Sri Murali Mohan not invited him to this meaningful gathering, he would have considered the day wasted.

The event was also attended by Sri A. Prabhu, CEO of Suman TV. Following the program, Sri Murali Mohan and Dr. Gangadhara Sastry personally served meals to the students.

'నేను బాల్యం లో RSS శాఖ కు వెళుతూండేవాడిని... వారు నిర్వహించే 'గద్దె వేంకట సత్యనారాయణ శిశువిద్యా మందిరం' లోనే చదువుకున్నాను. అక్కడి గురుశ్రేష్ఠులు శ్రీ శనగవరపు వెంకటేశ్వర్లు, శ్రీ ఆకుల వెంకట రత్నారావు వంటి వారి వల్ల తెలుసుకున్నవే - దేశభక్తి, దైవభక్తి, కర్తవ్యనిష్ఠ, నిష్కామ కర్మ, భగవద్గీత, నిస్వార్ధపరులైన దేశభక్తుల కథలు, రామాయణ భారతాదుల లోని పాత్రల వైశిష్ట్యం .... ఇవే నన్ను సంపూర్ణ భగవద్గీతా గానం రికార్డింగ్ తో పాటు, గీతా ప్రచారానికే నా జీవితాన్ని అంకితమయ్యేలా స్ఫూర్తినిచ్చాయని భావిస్తాను. నా దృష్టి లో RSS అంటే నిస్వార్థపరులైన దేశభక్తులను తయారు చేసే కర్మాగారం. ఈ సంస్థలో ప్రచారకులు ప్రాంతాలకు అతీతం గా దేశం లో ఎక్కడికైనా వెళ్లి సేవలందించగలరు. ఈ సేవలకు శతవసంతాలు పూర్తి అయినా సందర్భం గా దేశవ్యాప్తం గా వేలాది హిందూ సమ్మేళన కార్యక్రమాలు జరగడం ఆనందదాయకం... ఈ కార్యక్రమాల ప్రధానోద్దేశ్యం - శత సంవత్సరాలలో రాష్ట్రీయ స్వయం సేవక్ సంఘ్, హిందువులు సాధించిన ప్రగతి గుర్తుచేసుకుంటూ, ఈ దేశ ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితులను కూడా సమీక్షించుకోవలసిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉంది. నేటి యువతరం లో రాష్ట్రీయ స్వయం సేవక్ సంఘ్ నిర్వహించే 'శాఖ'ల పట్ల మరింత అవగాహన, ఆసక్తి ఏర్పరచవలసి ఉంది. ఒక పక్క 'మోదీ' మహాశయుడు ఈ దేశం అస్థిత్వాన్ని బలపరిచే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తుంటే మరోపక్క - ఈ దేశం లో విపరీతం గాపెరుగుతున్న మత మార్పిడులు, సనాతన ధర్మం పైన విచ్చల విడిగా జరుగుతున్న దాడులు, దశాబ్దాలుగా లవ్ జీహాద్ పేరుతో హిందూ ఆడపిల్లలపై జరుగుతున్న దారుణాలు ఇప్పుడు టెక్ జీహాద్ పేరుతో మరో మలుపు తీసుకోవడం ఆందోళనకరమైన పరిస్థితే... హిందువులు తీవ్రం గా ప్రతిఘటించవలసిన స్థితే..! హిందువులను ఏమి చేసినా స్పందించరనే సంకేతాన్ని ఇవ్వడం మానుకోవాలి... జరుగుతున్న అనేక వరుస సంఘటనలు భారత దేశ ఆస్థిత్వాన్ని, భద్రతను, సనాతన ధర్మ ఉనికిని ప్రశ్నిస్తున్నాయి." అన్నారు గీతా గాన, ప్రవచన, ప్రచార కర్త, భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ వ్యవస్థాపకులు డాII ఎల్ వి గంగాధర శాస్త్రి. హైదరాబాద్ లోని హస్తినాపురం లో ఇటీవల జరిగిన హిందూ సమ్మేళనం లో ముఖ్య అతిథి గా పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించారు. ఆచరణాత్మక హిందువుల వల్లే సనాతన ధర్మం కాపాడబడుతుందని ఆయన అన్నారు. 'తల్లులారా ... ఈ దేశం లో పుట్టినందుకు భగవద్గీత శ్లోకం ... తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాలలో పుట్టినందుకు పోతన పద్యం మీ బిడ్డలకు నేర్పించి మీ అస్థిత్వాన్ని కాపాడుకోండి..." అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. అమెరికా లో న్యూజెర్సీ లోని శాటన్ హాల్ యూనివర్సిటీ లో MBA చదివే విద్యార్థులకు 'A Journey Of Transfermation' పేరుతో భగవద్గీత కోర్స్ తప్పనిసరి గా నేర్పిస్తుంటే ... భగవద్గీతకు జన్మనిచ్చిన భారత దేశం లో ప్రభుత్వాలు ఏం చేస్తున్నాయి... హిందువులు ఏం చేస్తున్నారు ? అంటూ గంగాధర శాస్త్రి ప్రశ్నించారు. అందరినీ సమం గా ఆదరించాలనే secular భావజాలానికి పునాది అయిన సనాతన ధర్మాన్ని, భారత దేశాన్ని కాపాడుకుందామని అన్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం లో హిందూ సమ్మేళన సమితి అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ తేలుకుంట్ల శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి , RSS అఖిల భారత సామాజిక సమరసత కళావిభాగం కన్వీనర్ శ్రీ అప్పల ప్రసాద్ జీ పాల్గొన్నారు.

“I used to attend RSS shakhas during my childhood and studied at the Gadde Venkata Satyanarayana Shishu Vidya Mandir run by them. It was through revered teachers there—such as Sri Shanagavarapu Venkateswarlu garu and Sri Akula Venkata Ratna Rao garu—that I imbibed values like patriotism, devotion to God, commitment to duty, Nishkama Karma, the teachings of Bhagavadgita, inspiring stories of selfless patriots, and the greatness of characters from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. I believe it is these very influences that inspired me to dedicate my life to recording the complete Bhagavadgita in musical form and to the propagation of the Gita. In my view, RSS is a workshop that produces selfless patriots. The pracharaks of this organization serve anywhere in the country, beyond regional boundaries. It is heartening to see that, as this organization completes a hundred years of service, thousands of Hindu Sammelan programs are being conducted across the nation. The primary objective of these gatherings is to reflect on the progress achieved by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Hindus over the past century, and also to critically assess the current condition of the nation. There is a pressing need to create greater awareness and interest among today’s youth about the shakhas conducted by RSS. While on one hand, Shri Narendra Modi garu is striving to strengthen the nation’s identity, on the other hand, the alarming rise in religious conversions, relentless attacks on Sanatana Dharma, and the atrocities against Hindu girls under the guise of ‘Love Jihad’—now taking a new turn in the form of ‘Tech Jihad’—are deeply concerning. This is a situation that Hindus must strongly resist. We must stop sending the message that Hindus will not respond to any wrongdoing. The series of ongoing incidents is raising serious questions about the identity, security, and the very existence of Sanatana Dharma in India,” said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned Gita singer, preacher, propagator, and founder of the Bhagavadgita Foundation.

He was speaking as the chief guest at a recently held Hindu Sammelan in Hastinapuram, Hyderabad. He emphasized that only practicing Hindus can truly safeguard Sanatana Dharma. Addressing mothers, he urged: “Teach your children at least one Bhagavadgita shloka because they are born in this country, and a verse of Pothana because they are born in the Telugu land—this is how you preserve your identity.” He further questioned, “When MBA students at Seton Hall University in New Jersey, USA, are mandatorily taught a Bhagavadgita course titled ‘A Journey of Transformation,’ what are the governments in India—the birthplace of the Gita—doing? And what are Hindus doing?” He called upon everyone to protect India and Sanatana Dharma, which form the very foundation of the secular ideal of respecting all equally.

'విశ్వరూప సందర్శన యోగ ఘట్టాన్ని కళ్ళకు కట్టినట్టు గా తాత్పర్య సహితం గా గానం చేసి ప్రేక్షకులను పరవశింపచేశారు. SMILES వ్యవస్థాపకులు శ్రీ గౌరప్రసాద్ గారు వృద్ధుల సేవకు అంకితమై తన జన్మను చరితార్థం చేసుకున్నారని ప్రశంసించారు. అన్నమయ్య కీర్తనల అంతరంగాన్ని రసార్ద్రం గా, అత్యద్భుతం గా ఆవిష్కరించిన శ్రీమతి క్రాంతి నారాయణ్ ను, ఆమె బృందాన్ని అభినందించి సత్కరించారు.

“‘Tvadīyaṁ vastu Govinda tubhyam eva samarpaye’ — O Govinda, I offer back to You what is Yours!” With this spirit of complete surrender, Annamacharya (Annamayya) transformed the intellect, scholarship, and talent granted by the Supreme into 32,000 devotional compositions (sankeertana flowers). Instead of using them for personal gain, he offered them entirely at the feet of the Lord, saying, “Daachuko nee paadālaku tagane chesina poojalive…” (Preserve these as offerings worthy of Your feet). It is for this reason that Annamayya became eternal as the “Padakavita Pitamaha” (the grandfather of devotional lyric poetry). The Telugu language found in the lyrical expressions of his compositions is unparalleled—deeply thoughtful, rooted in Dharma, and aimed at the welfare of society. Annamayya was a selfless Karma Yogi, born solely to proclaim the glory of Lord Sri Venkateswara to the world. Likewise, the great musician Padma Shri Garimella Balakrishna Prasad garu fulfilled his life’s purpose by rendering these keertanas with the same devotion and total identification,” said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned Gita singer, preacher, and propagator, founder chairman of Bhagavadgita Foundation.

He spoke as the chief guest at the program titled “Nritya Harati to Annamayya Kavita Bharati”, held at the SMILES old-age home in Hyderabad, where a dance offering was presented by the renowned Kuchipudi dancer and guru Smt. Kranti Narayan, a disciple of Padma Shri Shobha Naidu, along with her troupe. On this occasion, Dr. Gangadhara Sastry explained that religion is something associated with a particular group, whereas Dharma is universal in nature, and what we follow is Sanatana Dharma in its true form.

He rendered select verses from the Bhagavadgita, explaining how they can be practiced in daily life, and captivated the audience by vividly singing the Vishwaroopa Darshana Yoga episode with deep meaning. He also praised Sri Gauraprasad garu, founder of SMILES, for dedicating his life to the service of the elderly and thereby making his life meaningful. Finally, he congratulated and honored Smt. Kranti Narayan and her troupe for presenting the inner essence of Annamayya’s compositions in a profoundly moving and extraordinary manner.

"సనాతన ధర్మ సారాంశమే భగవద్గీత. దీనికి సర్వశాస్త్రమయి అని పేరు. భగవానుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని చే భోధింపబడుటవలన భగవద్గీత అని, వేదాంతములను సంగ్రహించి చెప్పిఉన్నందున ఉపనిషత్సారమని, పరబ్రహ్మమును తెలిపే విద్య అగుటవలన దీనిని బ్రహ్మవిద్యయని, ఆత్మానాత్మ వివేకమును స్పష్టపరచే సాంఖ్య యోగము, కర్మయోగము చెప్పబడియున్నందున యోగశాస్త్రమని, కృష్ణపరమాత్మకు, అర్జునునకూ జరిగిన ప్రశ్నోత్తర రూపం గా ఉన్నందున శ్రీకృష్ణార్జున సంవాదమనీ భగవద్గీత చెప్పబడుతోంది. గీతోపదేశం విన్న అర్జునుడు తనకు అజ్ఞానం నశించి, జ్ఞానం లభించి, సందేహాలన్నీ తొలగిపోయి కర్తవ్యోన్ముఖుడినయ్యానని అంటాడు.. ఇదే 'గీత' ఆచరణ ఫలితం... గీతను అర్ధం చేసుకున్న ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ పొందే ఫలితం ఇది. ఇది మత గ్రంథం కాదు. కర్మ సిద్ధాంత గ్రంథం...! మతాలకూ దేశకాలజాత్యాదులకు అతీతమైన కర్తవ్య బోధ. అందుచేత తల్లులారా ... బాల్యదశనుండే మీ బిడ్డలకు నేర్పించవలసిన బ్రహ్మవిద్య భగవద్గీత.. !" అన్నారు గీతా గాన ప్రవచన ప్రచార కర్త , 'భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్' వ్యవస్థాపకులు డాII ఎల్. వి. గంగాధర శాస్త్రి. అమలాపురం లోని KIMS మెడికల్ కాలేజ్ ప్రాంగణం లో కొలువై ఉన్న శ్రీదేవి భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి ఏకాదశ వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల సందర్భం గా (21.4.2026) ఆయన గీతా గాన ప్రవచనం చేశారు. గీత లో శ్రీకృష్ణ పరమాత్ముడు ఈ సృష్టి లోని ఏ ఏ వస్తువిశేషాలలో సమధికుడై ఉన్నాడో 'విభూతి యోగం'ద్వారా వివరిస్తూ, అటుపై ప్రేక్షకుల భావోద్వేగాల మధ్య 'విశ్వరూపసందర్శన యోగా' న్ని కళ్ళకు కట్టినట్టు తాత్పర్య సహితం గా ఆలపించారు. కార్యక్రమ ప్రారంభం లో అమలాపురం లోని విద్యార్థినీ విద్యార్థులతో పాటు చైతన్య గ్రూప్ చైర్మన్ శ్రీమాన్ కె వి వి సత్యనారాయణ రాజు కూడా భక్తి యోగ పారాయణ చేయడం విశేషం ..! 'ఇంటింటా గీతా జ్యోతి వెలగాలి. ప్రతిఒక్కరూ సనాతన ధర్మ పరిరక్షకులై మెలగాలి. ప్రతి దేవాలయం లోనూ సంపూర్ణ భగవద్గీత మ్రోగాలి. ప్రతి గ్రామం లోనూ గీతా మందిరాలు వెలవాలి.' అని పిలుపునిస్తూ - తెలుగు నాట 'భగవద్గీతా యూనివర్సిటీ' స్థాపనే పరమ లక్ష్యం గా తమ భగవద్గీతా ఫౌండేషన్ కృషి చేస్తుందని గంగాధర శాస్త్రి అన్నారు. చైతన్య గ్రూప్ వ్యవస్థాపక అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ కె వి వి సత్యనారాయణ రాజు (చైతన్య రాజు) స్పందిస్తూ శ్రీ గంగాధర శాస్త్రి గారు చేపట్టిన గీతా ప్రచార మహా యజ్ఞం లో తాము కూడా పాల్గొంటామని అన్నారు.తెలుగు మహాసభల నిర్వహణ పేరుతో మన భాషాసంస్కృతులను కాపాడటానికి చైతన్య రాజు గారు చేస్తున్న కృషిని, సేవలను గంగాధర శాస్త్రి కొనియాడారు.

“Bhagavadgita is the very essence of Sanatana Dharma. It is known as Sarva Shastramayi (the essence of all scriptures). Since it was taught by Lord Sri Krishna, it is called the Bhagavadgita; as it presents the distilled teachings of the Vedanta, it is regarded as the essence of the Upanishads; as it imparts the knowledge of the Supreme Reality (Parabrahman), it is known as Brahmavidya; and since it clearly explains the distinction between the Self and the non-Self through Sankhya Yoga and Karma Yoga, it is also called a Yoga Shastra. Furthermore, as it is presented in the form of a dialogue of questions and answers between Sri Krishna and Arjuna, it is referred to as the Sri Krishna–Arjuna Samvada.

After listening to the Gita, Arjuna declares that his ignorance has been destroyed, he has gained knowledge, all his doubts have been dispelled, and he has become ready to perform his duty—this is the result of practicing the Gita. This is the outcome that everyone who truly understands the Gita will attain. It is not a religious text confined to any one faith; it is a scripture of the philosophy of Karma, a universal teaching of duty that transcends religion, geography, time, and social divisions. Therefore, O mothers, the Bhagavadgita is the supreme knowledge (Brahmavidya) that must be taught to your children from a very young age,” said Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry, renowned Gita singer, preacher, and propagator, and founder chairman of Bhagavadgita Foundation.

On the occasion of the 11th Annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy (along with Sridevi and Bhudevi), held at the KIMS Medical College premises in Amalapuram on 21.04.2026, Dr. L.V. Gangadhara Sastry delivered the Gita Gaana Pravachanam. Explaining through the Vibhuti Yoga how Lord Sri Krishna manifests as the supreme among various elements of creation, he then rendered the Vishwaroopa Sandarshana Yoga with profound meaning, vividly bringing the cosmic form before the eyes of the audience, who were deeply moved. At the beginning of the program, it was noteworthy that along with the students of Amalapuram, Sri K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju, Chairman of the Chaitanya Group, also participated in the Bhakti Yoga Parayanam.

Calling upon everyone, Dr. Sastry said, “Let the light of the Gita shine in every home. Let every individual become a protector of Sanatana Dharma. Let the complete Bhagavadgita resonate in every temple, and let Gita Mandirs arise in every village.” He further stated that the ultimate goal of the Bhagavadgita Foundation is to establish a “Bhagavadgita University” in the Telugu region. Responding to this, Sri K.V.V. Satyanarayana Raju (Chaitanya Raju), Founder Chairman of the Chaitanya Group, expressed that they would also take part in this great mission of propagating the Gita. Dr. Sastry appreciated the efforts and services of Chaitanya Raju in preserving language and culture through the organization of Telugu Mahasabhas.
