The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs is a NGO/social organization engaged in the social and economic "upliftment of women through entrepreneurship". The slogan "Gearing women power" stands for the democratic structure of COWE and stands for “Of the women, for the women and by the women”. Inaugurated on 22 December 2004 by Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy

at Jubilee Hall, Hyderabad, India. Has over 1000+ members who are entrepreneurs in the fields of food processing, information technology, pharmaceuticals, printing, packaging, manufacturing, retailing, industries, textiles and the like. COWE's vision is to build a women force that is economically empowered, valued citizens of the nation. By pooling the dormant talent, skills, practical knowledge and resources of a woman and combining it with her intrinsic quality of dedication and commitment, we will achieve this. Hosted by Confederation Of Women Entrepreneurs Of India , Rajasthan Chapter, Day 2 featured inspiring sessions, a start-up conclave, and strong grassroots collaborations.

Green Technology & Climate Action – Women-Led Innovations
Moderated by Ms. Meena Kaviya, the session highlighted that ~33% of household waste comes from food, stressing awareness and reduction. It addressed issues of non-biodegradable sanitary pads, promoting solar incinerators as a sustainable solution. Speakers emphasised women’s role in green innovation, eco-friendly practices, and EV adoption, aligned with SDG 12, while encouraging sustainable living rooted in India’s ‘Sanatan’ values.

Discussions focused on innovation, resilience, family support, experiential tourism, and growing recognition of crafts in education.

The two-day summit empowered women entrepreneurs through networking and collaboration. It included COWE leaders and members across India, and inspiring journeys of 25 Lakhpati Didis supported by RAJEEVIKA, Govt. of Rajasthan.
