What if a Bible story could do more than tell you what happened?

What if it could make you stop, look, feel—and see your own story differently?

Today, Food for Life Ministries is introducing Faith in Frames—a new visual storytelling series bringing biblical stories to life through comic art.

Our first story is:

👑 ESTHER — FROM THREAT TO TRIUMPH

An orphan became a queen.

A threat of annihilation arose.

Fear confronted courage.

And a woman who had everything to lose found the strength to stand.

Through prayer and fasting, Esther’s heart was strengthened until she could say:

“If I perish, I perish.”

Then she walked into the king’s inner court.

This isn’t meant to be just another fascinating Bible story.

It is an invitation to ask:

What threat are YOU facing today?

What if fear doesn’t get to write your ending?

May Esther’s story strengthen your heart, awaken courage within you, and remind you that what looks like the end may become the beginning of your testimony.

From orphan to queen.
From fear to courage.
From threat to triumph.

Psalm 23:5.

Most of us have heard this passage. Some of us have known it by heart since childhood. Perhaps it has become so familiar that we no longer pause to savor it.

Today, I invite you to pause.

Sit with this Word.

Sit at the table God has prepared.

Let His Word feed the places in our souls that have been starved of love — the places where an orphan spirit has distorted our identity and taken us far, far, far away from who God says we are.

My prayer is that as we feed on His Word, something awakens within us.

That we arise into the divine identity God has placed within us as His children.

That we take our rightful place as sons and daughters — walking in love, walking in power, overcoming, reigning, and exercising the authority of heirs of God.

And that our lives become a testimony of His goodness: nothing missing, nothing lacking, but overflowing with His love, joy, peace, and abundance.

Fear Becomes an Invitation to Trust 🕊️

Have you ever been terrified of losing something—or someone—you love?

I recently had a dream about Raphy, our beloved cat. In the dream, he fell from the second floor, and my heart shattered. Raphy is an indoor cat. He doesn’t know how to survive in the outside world. My immediate thought was, “How will he manage? Who will protect him?”

But what began as a dream filled with fear became something much deeper.

A reminder that the things we love are not held safely only because we can protect them.

They are safest when we learn to trust the One who loves them—and us—even more than we do.

Sometimes what feels like a fall is actually an invitation to release our grip and discover that God’s hands are already underneath us.

“Nothing that is truly Mine is ever lost in the fall.”

What are you afraid of losing today?

Your child?
Your marriage?
Your calling?
Your ministry?
Your future?
Your work?
Something God has entrusted to you?

Perhaps your fear is becoming an invitation to trust.

I wrote about this dream, the tenderness of God’s heart, and the peace that comes when we realize that what we cannot control is still held by Him.

⚓ THE WORD OF GOD: OUR ANCHOR IN THE STORM

Storms will come.
Circumstances may change.
What we see may look impossible.

But the Word of God remains true.

When everything around us is shaking, we can hold on to what Jesus has said.

“And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!”
— Mark 9:23

The Word of God doesn’t merely give us something to read in the storm—it gives us something to stand on.

⚓ Let the Word be your anchor.
🌊 Let faith speak louder than the storm.
✝️ Believe what Jesus said.
