“The pen must move for the protection of nature.”

A two-day Environmental Writers’ Conclave was inaugurated at the Earth Center, Anmaspally, Kadthal Mandal, under the aegis of the Council for Green Revolution (CGR), bringing together poets, writers, singers, artists, and environmental thinkers to raise awareness on climate change and ecological conservation.

Prominent lyricist and MLC Gorati Venkanna emphasized that Indian culture has always revered nature and called upon artists and writers to inspire society through creativity, literature, music, and art. Singer-poet Jayaraju highlighted that human health depends on environmental health and urged people to adopt eco-friendly lifestyles.

Former MLC Yadava Reddy, former Information Commissioner Dileep Reddy, and CGR President Leela Laxma Reddy stressed the urgent need for collective environmental responsibility and creative public engagement to address climate change, deforestation, water scarcity, and rising temperatures.

CGR Chairman Laxma Reddy called on participants to create impactful environmental literature, songs, and cultural forms that can inspire schools, colleges, and rural communities toward sustainable living.
