If I teach a child to read a book, s/he will become a follower, if I teach the same kid to find questions and their answers, s/he will become a leader. Anganwadi's are primary child care centers run by the Government, through which the Government aspires to provide quality nutrition and education to children from financially weaker sections. Although the Government has done a laudable job in provi
ding nutritional requirements at these centers, the educational needs are sparsely met. We are trying to fill this gap by providing the students at these Anganwadi's with the necessary educational tools. We are trying to create a environment that makes learning fun. The students at these centers belong to families in which healthcare is a luxury. Spending time to stay informed about their child's health is something the parents cannot afford. To overcome these problems we partner with many medical schools in and around these centers and arrange medical camps in which a physical exam is offered free of cost.
